SYNTHETIC OIL

Superior LubricationThe molecules in synthetic oils flow freely and are perfectly round. While conventional oil molecules are still round, they don’t move smoothly like in synthetic oil and differ in size. Due to the free movement, synthetic oil flows better, and is much more efficient in lubricating.

Beat the HeatThe next reason is its capability to withstand heat. Conventional oils often suffer from thermal breakdown, which happens when they are exposed to high heat conditions. However, synthetic oils perform better, and are capable of resisting heat.

Revitalizes Your EngineSynthetic oils can actually help restore and revitalize the engines of older equipment. A high-quality, high-mileage synthetic oil like 10W40 can help revive the seals and gaskets in the engine, slowing down existing leaks and help prevent future leaks. It offers better protection for engine components, which is very important as equipment ages. Synthetic oil can even help clean out sludge left over from conventional oil, which helps clean pistons and other engine components and can even help improve fuel consumption.

Improved StabilityStability in the synthetic oil game means viscosity. Over time, all oil tends to lose its thickness. Thin and runny oil can lead to “dry starts,” which occur when your equipment has been sitting for a long period of time and the oil drains into the oil pan instead of sticking to the parts it’s supposed to, causing the engine to run unprotected. Synthetic oil, with better viscosity, will stick better to all the engine parts for much longer periods of time than conventional oil.

Improved Engine LifeBecause synthetic oil is thinner compared to conventional oil, it minimizes the engine’s work. This offers additional protection against premature wear, resulting in longer engine life. During the winter months, when it gets cold, conventional oil will thicken. Synthetic oil helps your engine work less, making it easier to start and build oil pressure faster even on the coldest mornings.

CUSTOM MADE HYDRAULIC HOSESBring in your old hose and Young’s part staff will duplicate it. All stores carry a wide selection of fittings for hose sized 1/4” thru 1”. Fittings are available in JIC, Flat face, Pipe, British pipe, and ORB. Prices vary depending on length and size.

We now stock JIC adapters for ALO fittings. We are able to make hoses for ALO loaders which are used on all makes of equipment. Our hoses are double braid as opposed to the OEM single braid. This makes for a much stronger, more reliable hose.

Don’t forget to bring your empty oil containers with you to refill with Viscosity Premium Hydraulic fluid!

MacDon FD Series FlexDraper® Headers are designed to contour to the ground on rolling terrain for a close even cut. However, when cutting off the ground, the FlexDraper frame is locked into rigid mode. This setting limits the FlexDraper’s ability to contour over rolling terrain. The Contour Buddy System solves that by allowing FlexDrapers to be used in Flex mode while cutting off the ground.

The ContourBuddy is a simple mechanical system that uses strategically placed wheels under the FlexDraper. This design takes full advantage of the FlexDraper’s Flex/Float system while cutting off the ground.
