E quine events continue to be a significant attraction for visitors of all ages. This year CWA has added something new: Chore Team Events. The Chore Team Events include Chore Team Competition, Feed Team Race, and Water Barrel Race. The Chore Team Competition is a test of skill and agility, involving a team of horses completing a skill-testing course, challenging both the horses and the drivers. The Feed Team Race is a head to head race where horses race through a course, stopping at three feed stations to pick up and drop off feed with the fastest team winning. Water Barrel Racing is a test of driver control, smoothness, and speed. Teams are challenged to haul a barrel of water through a timed course without spilling any water. Catch these events on Tuesday, November 25 and Wednesday, November 26. See schedule for exact times. Full Contact Jousting brings a new level of athleticism, bravery, and entertainment to Agribition. The competition does not feature choreographed jousting like you would see at dinner theatre entertainment, but rather authentic, competitive, full contact jousting. Full Contact Jousting at Agribition displays the sport’s true physical and dangerous roots. Two men and two horses will charge at each other on either side of a 180’ fence and collide at 30 miles an hour with 11’ long lances. Watch one of the most extreme, dangerous sports ever played, on Saturday, November 29. See schedule for exact times. New Events to the 2014 Show Chore Team Events and Full Contact Jousting As we come into fall, the planning of Agribition is well in hand, and I look forward to another outstanding event. The summer and fall have been full of committee meetings, phone calls and planning, and I believe we are going to raise the bar again this year. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the extensive exhibitor support we receive. On the livestock side, we have exhibitors from all across the country representing beef, sheep, goats, bison and even stock dogs, to name a few. On the trade show side, we have another sold out event. From cars to combines to jewelry we appreciate all our exhibitors. From our 40 year to our first year exhibitors, all of you bring the show to life and make this event the best show in the country. This is something we can all be proud of. On behalf of the Board and staff at CWA, I would like to thank the volunteers and all the exhibitors for their hard work and dedication to make this show a success. The enhancements and growth would not be possible without their continued support. Looking forward to seeing you all at our best show yet! ......................................................................................................................................... New Events to the 2014 ShowChore Team Events and Full Contact Jousting
As we come into fall, the planning of Agribition is well in hand, and I look forward to another
outstanding event. The summer and fall have been full of committee meetings, phone calls and
planning, and I believe we are going to raise the bar again this year.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the extensive exhibitor support we receive. On the livestock
side, we have exhibitors from all across the country representing beef, sheep, goats, bison and
even stock dogs, to name a few. On the trade show side, we have another sold out event. From
cars to combines to jewelry we appreciate all our exhibitors. From our 40 year to our fi rst year
exhibitors, all of you bring the show to life and make this event the best show in the country. This
is something we can all be proud of.
On behalf of the Board and staff at CWA, I would like to thank the volunteers and all the
exhibitors for their hard work and dedication to make this show a success. The enhancements and
growth would not be possible without their continued support.
Looking forward to seeing you all at our best show yet!
