nDeforestation is considered to be one of the reasons for the global climate change. The trees act like filters, absorbing greenhouse gases and carbon emissions, and then produce oxygen. The less trees the more gases and carbon emissions will remain in our atmosphere.

The forests also perpetuate the water cycle. If there arent that many forests, there wouldn’t be that much water vapor released into the atmosphere. Therefore our garden would not get as much rain as it needs for its growth.

Erosion Erosion is the process of eroding by wind, and other natural sources.A type of erosion is soil erosion. Soil

erosion is the removal of the topsoil faster than the soil processes can replace it. Soil erosion can be caused by rain, animals and natural causes.

Erosion

The garden at Polo Park is vulnerable to the large amount of rain that Florida brings. This rain can cause the garden to flood and the plants to not grow properly.

Strong winds are very popular in Wellington, these winds can blow away the soil in the garden beds. This can deprive the nutrients that the plants are supposed to receive.

RELATIONSHIPS OF ENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY

• Energy and environment is an interdisciplinary study aimed at natural science.

• A major goal of energy and environment is to act as a forum for constructive and professional debate between scientists and technologists.

• Another goal of environment and energy is to include the

informed and environmentally concerned public and their organizations in debate.
