2010 DA Christmas CelebrationThe merriest to date.Thus declared most, if not all,
of DA-OSEC officials andemployees of their yuletidecelebration on December 17,2010.
Firstly, the man of the house,Sec. Proceso Procy Alcala,stayed from the Christmaspresentations of the DA-OSECServices until the last piece of theguest band, The Bloomfieldswassang.
Secondly, more than 100Christmas gift items, mostly homeappliances, were raffled off tolucky officials and employees.
Thirdly, two musical bands
(Perihelion and Bloomfields)rendered some of the most
popular Christmas carols, rock-and-roll, and disco songs.
Senator Francis KikoPangilinan, chair of the SenateCommittee on agriculture, alsograced the event and gave acash gift that was raffled off.
Comedienne Jacque Odahosted the event as well as DAshome-grown talents NeilBaldoza, Weng Genete and JetAranas.
In between DA-OSEC servicepresentations and raffling off ofprizes, Sec. Procy mingled witheveryone, sang Christmascarols, and danced withemployees, getting down to their
feet and discoed the night awaywith the 60s and 70s music
provided by the youngBloomfieldsband.
Expectedly, Sec. Procy had hispicture taken with almosteveryone of the 500 plus DAemployees during the affair.
Nine DA-OSEC servicesdelighted the crowd with theirrespective Christmaspresentations, which were
judged by Sec. Procy himselfand other DA top officials.
The Information Technology
Center for Agriculture andFisheries, and OSEC executive
staff, with their respectiveHawaiian and modern musicdances, tied for first, receivingP15,000 each, while thePlanning Service placed third.
Before the year closed, Sec.Procy visited and sharedyuletide greetings with officialsand employees of DA-OSECservices, and other DA bureausand agencies. He likewiseextended New Years greetingsto other agencies on January 3,

Sa ilalim ng Agri-PinoyStrategic Frameworkpauunlarin pa natin ang mgasakahan at pangisdaan tungosa mas magandang bukas parasa mga malilit na magsasakaat mangingisda.
Lalo nating pagtitibayin angating pagkakaisa upangmakamit ang adhikain tungosa kasapatan sa bigas at mais,at iba pang pagkain, atmakapag-hatid ng sapat, abot-kaya at masustansyangpagkain sa bawat pamilyangFilipino.
