Wullenweber (Wullenwever) was an exceptional broad-base-direction-finding system used by Axis forces during the WWII. This technology has been widely improved, especially by Sylvania (Rolf Wundt) in post war times. Here is a Rolf Wundt's document "Wullenweber Arrays" published by AGARD (The Advisory Group for Aerospace Research and Development of NATO)
