AFRICAN GEOGRAPHY

On a map, do the following:1. Search and draw the areas where oil

is produced in Africa.2. Search for alternative routes for

tranportation, using your knowledge of African geography. Consider the major obstacles discusssed.

3. Locate the country that has the most mineral resources and list those resources.

4. Locate two areas where agriculture would be nearly impossible to acomplish.

5. Locate the following countries: Nigeria, Lybia, Angola

6. Besides the coastal countries, which ones do you think have a fishing industry? Write down at least five of them and explain why.

USE YOUR MEMORY

• Presentation counts. Be neat and organized.

• On the map use symbols to represent certain items and different colors to differentiate land areas.

• On the back of the sheet, write down the details of the map, and use a legend in order to be able to identify everything on the map.
