Marine Corps League Award

• Awarded to a Sophomore and a Junior who have shown the most improvement in attitude and performance throughout the year.

Vietnam Veterans Award

• Presented to two Seniors who actively participated and contributed to the benefit of the corps; $250 Scholarship each.

Disabled American Veterans Award

• Awarded to one cadet who demonstrated the greatest progress during the first year of aerospace science studies.

The Retired Enlisted Association Award

• Presented to a cadet in the enlisted ranks who shows consistent diligence in an assigned staff duty through the year.

Tuskeegee Airmen Incorporated Award

• Awarded annually to two cadets who are in good academic standing, actively participate in corps activities and in at least 50% of all unit service programs: Medal, Ribbon and certificate.

Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War Award

• Recognizes one deserving cadet annually who displays a high degree of patriotism and demonstrates a high degree of academic excellence and leadership ability; medal and ribbon.

Sons of Confederate Veterans of the Civil War Award

• Recognizes one deserving cadet annually who displays a high degree of patriotism and demonstrates a high degree of academic excellence and leadership ability; medal and ribbon.

Air Force Sergeants Association Award

• Awarded to the outstanding Junior or Senior cadet who demonstrates outstanding qualities in military leadership, discipline, character, and citizenship, and does quality academic work in JROTC; medal, ribbon and certificate.

Military Order of the Purple Heart

• Awarded to the outstanding Senior who demonstrates a positive attitude toward JROTC and country, holds a leadership position in the corps, is active in community affairs, and performs soundly.

Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction

• Awarded to the outstanding cadet who encouragesAmericanism by participating in extracurricular activities, shows academic excellence, and exhibits qualities ofdependability, character, and patriotism.

National Sojourners Award

• This award recognizes an outstanding cadet whocontributed the most to encourage and demonstrate Americanism within the corps of cadets anddemonstrated potential for outstanding leadership.

• For outstanding performance in academics and cadets corps activities as a first or second year JROTC cadet

Sons of the American Revolution

• Presented at the end of a cadet’s first year of theAerospace Science program. The recipient mustexhibit a high degree of leadership, military bearing, and all-around excellence in Aerospace studies.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Award

• Awarded annually to the outstanding cadet from each year group who is actively engaged in the JROTC program and who possesses individual characteristics contributing to leadership; medal/ribbon.

• Awarded to the outstanding Junior Cadet who shows exceptional potential for military leadership, is in good academic standing, of high moral character, and shows a high order of loyalty to the country.

Military Order of World Wars Award

• Awarded annually to an outstanding cadet who has shown the most improvement and committed to continue in the program next year. Selection is based on outstanding accomplishments and service to the unit: Medal and Ribbon.

Reserve Officers Association Award

• Awarded to a senior cadet who possesses individual characteristics contributing to leadership, such as professional appearance, initiative, judgment, self-confidence, courtesy, capacity for responsibility, and is in the top 10% of their JROTC class.

American Veterans (AMVETS) Awards

• Awarded annually to the cadet who has demonstrateda high degree of military excellence in appearance, attitude and dependability, has officer potential and isin good scholastic standing; medal and ribbon.
