If you are already an affiliate you’ll need to enter your Username or email; and your Password. For now lets just assume you are registering for the first time.
To login after this session, simply go to www.triumphantevents.co.uk , scroll to the bottom and click on ‘Affiliates’. Your username and password will give you access. Our web team have worked hard to make it quick and easy for you to send invitations to upcoming events to your contacts. All copy (found in your Affiliate Portal) contains your unique Referral Link, so bookings, attendances and sales can be tracked directly to you.
Step 3. Explore the Affiliate Portal. A fast tutorial on how to effectively use your Affiliate Portal is in there if you require it. You can’t break anything, so get in there and have a play.
Step 4. Keep an eye out! We promote several international speakers so we endeavour to give you plenty of information about each event and when they are running. Pre-campaign, we will send you special affiliate communications from [email protected]. If you're using any email filtering software (spamarrest etc) - make sure you add this address to your 'safelist'/'whitelist' to ensure you receive them. These emails will keep you on the pulse of what campaigns are coming up and when the best times will be to inform your network.
Step 5. Email your network! You will find that for each opportunity we have 3 sets of invitations that you can customise to suit your individual style or that of your company. You can even create your own copy from scratch if you choose, just don't forget to include

Below that is a series of short, medium and long email templates. The Short Invitation templates are ideal for Twitter really. For now lets skip over to the Medium Invitation message.
Part 3: Create a Test Campaign Ok. Let’s create a test email campaign that you will send to yourself. In this case all we want to do is practice cutting and pasting an email template from the Affiliate area into an email. Launch your email software and create a New Email. I’m using a Mac and Mail in this example. Switch from the Affiliates page in the web browser to your email software.
Go back to the Affiliates page and copy the Medium Invitation. Notice that the first four lines are some suggested Subject headers. You’ll notice that I’ve used the third suggestion and inserted it in the Subject box in the email example below
Switch back to the email software and Paste the Medium Invitation message in the message box. Again, I’ve used one of the subject header suggestions in the Subject slot and inserted the suggested text into the message box.
A little further on in this template is a html hyperlink which you will need to highlight and link to make it active.
Special Note: You may need make the html link active. In Mac you first highlight the link in the email; and then copy the link.
Ok, so now you know it all works, let’s plan a small email campaign for a small sample of ten friends or clients. One last thing. You get paid for your successful referrals so you may need to go back to the Task bar and click on Dashboard …
Part 4: Small Email Campaign In the above sections you learned how to register as an Affiliate; click on an Event and find promotional tools and create a simple email campaign with links. And we did a self Test. Simple Email Campaign In this case go through the email campaign exercise again and add in the names of ten clients or friends. NB: under some Privacy Act or Data Protection Laws you are not really supposed to display who else you sent emails to. So it advised to enter those names into the BCC slot (Blind Carbon Copy) so that recipients cannot see to whom the other emails were sent. Which is what I’ve done in this example.
I then click Send and I have now emailed my small test of ten clients.
It’s that simple. For best results email your lists two or three times per week.
Part 5: An Easy Twitter Campaign The Twitter campaign is very similar to the email campaign except you are using the Small Invitation messages as Tweets. Welcome back. Let’s show you how to do this. Click on Current Events.
In this case let’s promote the Brand Accelerator Day on October 6.
Look at the Showing slot. If its not checked, select All Regions Click on the event. The window expands.
Go back to the task bar. Click on My Tools

Scroll down because below the html banner links is a series of short, medium and long email templates. The Short Invitation templates are ideal for Twitter. Simply copy one of the Tweet messages.
Launch your web browser i.e., Safari, Firefox, etc.
Login to Twitter (www.twitter.com then standard login. This assumes you have a Twitter account!)
Part 6: What happened? OK you emailed ten friends. Or you tweeted. Wait a day or so, then click on the Statistics tab on the Dashboard task bar to see what happened.
Unfortunately, I haven’t racked up any sales yet! But
You can also click on Dashboard and you will receive a short status update.
What’s coming up next? What’s next is a more detailed tutorial on incorporating the html banners into a web site.
Part 8: The Web Campaign This section is really for people who know how to cut and paste html code into a website. If you are using something like Wordpress, its fairly straight forward. If you are using a website created by a coder it may be a little bit harder. In my case I had to locate the php file for my Workshops page of my website. Then I had to paste the html banner coding into the php file … with the appropriate <br /> breaks, upload that to my server via a programme called Filezilla. It took about 11 minutes but now my website has an active banner.
I then tested the link by clicking on the banner. And it works!
Note: this banner has my Unique Referral Link embedded into the html code.
Part 8: What do you want to happen? The Ambassador Campaign Basically, you become an affiliate and invite your clients and friends to an event and for every person who registers you earn £60 irrespective of whether they purchased a £25 ticket or a £149 ticket. In essence you can earn £60 for a £25 ticket purchase. This is a nice way to participate. Most affiliates end up inspiring five people to attend an event so this can be a very easy way to earn £300! The Ticketing Partner Basically, you attract different incentives and rewards if you campaign results in more than 10, 20 or 30 people i.e.,co-branding and co-promotional. Email [email protected] for a full list of benefits. The Partnership Opportunity You need to refer to the Partnership Opportunity booklet which sets out sponsorship and co-branding opportunities. Email [email protected] for the brochure. At this level you are a key participant and highly profiled before, during and after the event.
