PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The new command devices series M-0… are normally installed as external operators on “Ex e” enclosures suitable for all kind of industry where an explosive atmosphere may be present and classified as Zone 1 - 21 - 2 - 22. M-0 series of command and control operators consists of the M-0603 push button with an axial movement, the M-0604 selector with a rotating movement, the M-0605 emergency push button with an axial movement and the M-0612 multiled indicator light. Operators consists of a housing aluminum made with a black anodized finish, pin and spring in stainless steel and silicone seals. The colored keys on the push button and the mushroom push button are made of polyamide 6; the lever for operation is in aluminum with black anodic oxidation. All screws are in stainless steel. The contact block is in polyamide, the contacts are brass made, while pins, springs and screws are in stainless steel. Operators have been designed considering the following market requests:

∗ high mechanical strength; ∗ protection class to meet harsh environments with IP66 as standard;

∗ facilities in contacts replacement;

∗ use up to four contacts per operator;

∗ convenience in connecting electrical cables;

∗ high operational reliability and cost efficiency, reduced maintenance costs.

The three operators provide the opening or closing of various electrical or mechanical devices installed inside the enclosure. Follow in detail the technical features.

The push button M-0603 has an axial movement

The selector M-0604 has a rota-ting movement

The emergency push button M-0605 has an axial closing mo-vement. To unlock, you must rota-te clockwise and, then, it automa-tically returns to its original position.

EXAMPLE OF INSTALLATION

The new system of adapters allows an easy installation of contacts in panel boards with walls up to 7mm thick. Moreover, having reduced the thread diameter of the mushroom button (M32x1, 5), it’s possible to increase the number of operators on the cover respect to the pre-vious version.

Use up to 4 contacts per operator for M-0603 push button and M-0604 selector. Use up to 2 contacts per operator for the e-mergency push button M-0605.
