In 2005…

• International Helicopter Safety Team (IHST) set a goalto reduce the accident rate by 80% in 10 years

• FAA• NTSB• HAI• FAASTeam• Flight Schools• Pilots• Insurance Companies

To date the accident rate is still very much the same!

So, it appears if Helicopter pilots could be trained tomake better decisions (ADM), a major portion of thehelicopter accidents could be eliminated andmovement towards the desired goal could progress!
