As we all know that most offices use laser printers. However, more and more enterprises consider

choosing business inkjet printers due to its rapid development with obvious printing advantages.

What's the developing trend of business inkjet printers? Jarek Yang, the product manager of inkjet

products, is invited to talk about this issue.

2007, HP released business inkjet printers that equipped with Scalable Printing Technology (SPT), which

enables inkjet products to satisfy the high demands of business printing. In 2010, Epson's American company

announced the launch of two powerful color business inkjet printers B-310N and B-510DN. Both aimed at

business groups and small-sized enterprises by offering high-capacity color printing with excellent and reliable

performance. In the meantime, Epson vigorously promoted Workforce series business inkjet printers that

cover from entry-level to high-end products. Uncompromisingly, in 2014, Canon launched MAXIFY series

printers as its business inkjet printing product lines. In 2016, HP released another business inkjet printer with

PageWide technology. All manufacturers' movements segment the inkjet printing market and change the

concept that “Inkjet printing is not for business”. It's believed that major manufacturers will reposition their

inkjet products lines and lead inkjet printing into business area.

We will take a close look at Canon MAXIFY series Inkjet Business Printers.

Canon named its brand new inkjet business printers as MAXIFY, which was highly promoted in 9 global regions

with wide scope and strong power. The MAXIFY series employed pigment ink that not only have outstanding

color fastness but also marker and friction resistant, making it perfect for high quality business documents.

After two years, Canon introduced another 5 inkjet business printers to its MAXIFY series inEurope. We could

Ninestar Releases Cost-Saving Packing Solution

As a customer- oriented company, Ninestar released a

new packing solution to help customer to save more

transportation costs. So far, this new solution has been

gradually applied in Ninestar 435/505/2612 series toner

cartridges for use with HP printers. By optimizing the

size and design of the package, the new packing solution

can increase the loading capacity in each pallet.

Transportation costs will be reduced accordingly.

A German designer has invented a new kind of printer that challenges old standards.

The new concept printer, called “Paper,” is a 3-in-1 printer, copier and scanner that

connects to your PC and mobile phone. So what is different?

It's cute! It would be very attractive for mobile workers and small offices and homes.

Instead of relying on a stack of paper, it uses a continuous spool of paper at one end. Copying and scanning

can be easy too with this new concept. You can open its side, put the document in and simply choose to make

a copy or scan it to mobile devices such as smartphones.

The inventor, Ludwig Rensch, has also made it bright orange, making it even more eye-catching and has

provided a handle to make it convenient to carry around.

Driven by increasing demand for inkjet and wireless printers, the global printer supplies market is predicted to

reach a market value of more than US$33 billion by 2020.

So says market research company techavio. The research reveals that the OEM segment dominated the market

with more than 82% market share in terms of revenue in 2015. Due to factors such as customers' perceptions

that OEM supplies are reliable, durable and of high quality, the OEM segment will continue to lead the market

for many years to come.

Geographically speaking, the Americas continue to lead the print supplies market, holding a 38% share of the

global market in 2015. Thanks to the ongoing demand for inkjet printers and color laser printers in the region,

particularly in U.S., the Americas made significant contribution to the global market revenue. Wireless printers

in Americas also demonstrated high demands due to rapid technological advancements and increasing demand

from corporates and educational institutes.

The research also analyzed the landscape of the global printer supplies market, noting the presence of several

well-diversified players intensified competition in the market. Currently, key vendors in this market include (in

alphabetical order) Brother, Canon, HP, Epson, Kyocera, Lexmark, and Ricoh.

Techavio's research findings may be considered to be at odds with that of others who see the total value of the

industry being significantly more than $33 billion, and possibly as much as $80 billion. Others also state the

OEM share of the consumables market is higher than 90% in color, and as low as 75% in monochrome, with a

total share just over 20%.
