Collect icicles on the lakeshore, take
a walk through the fairytale-like snowy landscape, listen to the frosty crunch under your feet before warming up with a delicious
portion of baked apples and a cup of hot cocoa. At the “naturtherme” natural springs in templin and the open air pool in schwedtyou can enjoy a wonderfully warm, family friendly experience. You’ll have plenty of fun while your parents can relax.

slides including an 8 m high giant slide, 4 trampolines, an artificial turf pitch for ball games, climbing tower and go-kart track, as well as many more attractions will be sure to offer plenty of variety – that’s a promise!
What’s that crawling there? Why does the plant look so funny? Can you eat that? Accompanied by a
trained nature guide, you can ask questions until your heart’s content, turning every hike into a journey of discovery. “Herbalist” Ulrike Dittmann from pratensis will reveal which wild flowers arereally tastyand where you can find them.
Seriously? Unreal!” is something you're
bound to hear every now and again along the “tierisch phänomenal” adventure trail in the “Kleine Heide” recreational area. Learn
more about woodland inhabitants both large and small and their “super senses”. Explore how the water cycle works and how bats live on expeditions around “Hof Kokurin” in the recreational garden.
There's always something new
to discover about the environment at the “naturerlebnis uckermark” recreational park. At the centre of the thriving, natural garden landscape you will find playgrounds to burn off energy as well as tame animals to stroke. When taking a safari tour at the Elk and Reindeer Farm in Kleptow, you'll be sure to come across elegant red deer and shaggy bison. Or how do you fancy walking with llamas and alpacas? You can also take a walk on the wild side with African ostriches at the Ostrich Farm in Berkenlatten. Do you love horses? Then get in touch with the “Pferdehof Ruhnau” riding stables! Beginners can get to grips with riding her while those who are more experienced can enjoy galloping on horseback across the meadows.
And don't forget to savour the delicious
treats the region has to offer: why not try our deliciously sticky natural honey from the “Bio-Imkerei Hirrle” organic apiary or pick
your own juicy and fresh strawberries from the fields at “Stegemannshof”, or watch how the Wolters family produce aromatic “Uckerkaas” cheese at their exhibition dairy (“Schaukäserei”). The farm's own cows graze on the pasture just around the corner.
Do your parents really want to tour the town? You’ll love it to! Take our entertaining geocaching tour with GPS
devices. There are lots of tricky tasks to solve through finding your way to eight renowned sites before finally discovering the treasure at the end.

If it's raining or you simply want to enjoy a cosy time
indoors, why not borrow some books, magazines or games from the town library, or simply browse through the reading corner. On every first Tuesday in the month
you are warmly invited to the “Lesezauber” reading event, where children aged 4 and above are read to for one hour – entry is free. Or perhaps you’d prefer the cinema? The UNION Filmtheater cinema has the latest children's films on offer in 2-D or 3-D, and Sundays is always family day.
