Preface

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, University of Petroleumand Energy Studies, Dehradun, has organized the Third International Conference onIntelligent Communication, Control and Devices (ICICCD 2018) during December21–22, 2018. The conference focusses on the integration of intelligent communi-cation systems, control systems and devices related to all aspects of engineering andsciences. ICICCD 2018 aims to provide an opportune forum and vibrant platformfor researchers, academicians, scientists and industrial practitioners to share theiroriginal research work, findings and practical development experiences. The pro-ceedings are published in the Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing(AISC) book series of Springer.

The general aim of the conference is to promote international collaboration ineducation and research in all fields and disciplines of engineering. ICICCD 2018 isan international forum for those who wish to present their projects and innovations,having also the opportunity to discuss the main aspects and the latest results in thefield of education and research.

The organizing committee is extremely grateful to the authors from India andabroad who had shown tremendous response to the call for papers. Nearly 200papers were submitted from the researchers, academicians and students on wideareas of three parallel tracks such as intelligent communication, intelligent controland intelligent devices.

Hehas around 19+ years of experience in academics and research.
