ADVANCED SPLINTING IN UPPER

LIMB REHABILITATION


BREVE PREMESSA:

La tecnica dello SPLINTING ha avuto negli ultimi anni un notevole sviluppo ed ha creato un certo interessamento in tutte le branche della riabilitazione.

I tutori riabilitativi hanno una funzione preventiva, correttiva o funzionale, ma possono anche essere utilizzate per “bloccare” temporaneamente un’articolazione per simulare un’artrodesi, o per verificare la disponibilità di un paziente verso l’intervento chirurgico e soprattutto verso l’impegnativo percorso riabilitativo.

Questo corso è indirizzato ai professionisti della riabilitazione che possiedono già una base di conoscenza e competenze nella gestione dei tutori riabilitativi all’interno dell’iter dei pazienti. In questa edizione, i partecipanti avranno l’occasione di applicare circa una dozzina di tutori correttivi di ultima generazione all’interno del progetto riabilitativo. Verranno proposti dei Case Study in un approccio di insegnamento innovativo di “Problem-Solving”.

OBIETTIVI:

• Sottolineare l’importanza dell’integrazione di tutori personalizzati alla patologia e alla persona per la buona riuscita del progetto riabilitativo.

• Evidenziare l’essenzialità dell’applicazione di tutori riabilitativi rapidamente e modificarli secondo l’evoluzione della patologia e obiettivi riabilitativi.

• Apprendimento, da parte dei discenti, delle proprietà dei materiali termoplastici a bassa temperatura, di materiali di nuova generazione come gessi sintetici e tape in termoplastica.

• Integrazione e rafforzamento delle competenze acquisite in precedenti corsi di costruzione dei tutori come scopo riabilitativo o come modalità riabilitativa aggiuntiva. Mediante lo studio di casi clinici ed applicazione all’interno dell’iter riabilitativo.

• Far acquisire ai partecipanti la capacità di realizzare circa una dozzina di tutori riabilitativi recentemente presentati dai colleghi su scala internazionale in ambito ortopedico e riabilitativo.
