Facts About Corn Nematodes

• Corn nematode damage is not rare, but it is frequently misdiagnosed as many symptoms can be attributed to other problems.

• Possible symptoms:

• More often than not, nematode damage may be impacting crop yield even if there are no visual symptoms present.

• Some species of nematodes may not cause economic injury on their own, but can interact with other problems, such as fungal pathogens and insects, to intensify corn yield loss.
