Supplies:1 ball Red Heart® Soft® - Toast
1 ball Red Heart® Soft® - Off White
1 ball Red Heart® Soft® - Black
1 Size US H-8 (5.00 mm) crochet hook
1 - Yarn needle
1 - Stitch marker
Small amount of polyester stuffingOptional: handful of straight pins, thin wooden stick orpencil

Rnds 6-12: Sc evenly around. Rnd 13: [invdec, 6 sc] 3 times. – 21 stsRnd 14: [invdec, 5 sc] 3 times. – 18 sts- Sl st to next st to join.- Break off leaving approx. 24 inches of yarn for sewinglater.- Weave in other end.- Stuff Body.
Arms & Legs (make 4)- With Toast, make magic ring.Rnd 1: 9 sc into ring. – 9 stsRnds 2-9: Sc evenly around.- Sl st to next st to join.- Break off leaving approx. 24 inches of yarn for sewinglater.- Weave in other end.
Ears (make 2)- With Toast, make magic ring.Rnd 1: 6 sc into ring. – 6 stsRnd 2: [2 sc in next st] 6 times. – 12 stsRnds 3-4: Sc evenly around. - Sl st to next st to join.- Break off leaving approx. 24 inches of yarn for sewinglater.- Weave in other end.
Tail- With Toast, make magic ring.Rnd 1: 6 sc into ring. – 6 stsRnds 2-3: Sc evenly around.- Sl st to next st to join.- Break off leaving approx. 12 inches of sewing for later.- Weave in other end.
Muzzle- With Off White, ch 4.Rnd 1: Sk 1st ch, 2 sc evenly. In last ch, work 3 sc. Nowworking in opposite side of foundation chain, 1 sc, then 2sc in last ch. – 8 stsRnd 2: 2 sc in next st, 1 sc, [2 sc in next st] 3 times, 1 sc, [2sc in next st] 2 times. – 14 stsRnds 3-4: Sc evenly around.- Sl st to next st to join.- Break off leaving approx. 24 inches of yarn for sewinglater.- Weave in other end.
Assembly:1. Sew open end of Body to bottom of Head. Use pins to
position pieces first if desired.
2. Stuff bottom of Arms a little. Press the top of Arms flatand sew to sides of Body.
3. If a standing position for the bear is desired, fully stuffLegs and sew to bottom of Body. If a more seatedposition is desired, stuff only bottoms of Legs and sewto lower sides of Body.
4. Press Ears flat and sew bottom of Ears to top sides ofHead.
5. Sew Tail to back of bear.
6. Using Black, embroider nose and mouth onto Muzzle.
7. Stuff Muzzle very lightly and sew to front center ofHead.
