Assessment of fetal cardiac function 4. Fetal arrhythmias 5. First trimester fetal echocardiography 6. Counselling following prenatal diagnosis of congenital heart disease 7. Accommodation is available at the Marriott Hotel, but for a cheaper option there is a Premier Inn across the road from the Marriott Hotel.
About the courseThis course is intended for all those involved in ultrasound scanning of the fetal heart and is suitable for sonographers, obstetricians, radiologists and cardiologists. Areas to be covered include: • Use of Doppler techniques in the assessment in the fetal heart• Transposition of the great arteries• Septal defects• Cardiac asymmetry• Early fetal echocardiographyThe content will be delivered by the experienced fetal cardiology team from the Evelina Children’s Hospital in London. The lectures will be supplemented by live demonstration of fetal heart scanning, and all delegates will receive a CD of relevant information and images.
