At ARKIS
Purpose
To offer an internationally recognized curriculum to students who are not opting for IBDP.
AS (CIE)
They are taken in over 125 countries and offer a choice of 60 different subjects
They are part of the Cambridge Advanced stage
AS
Cambridge International AS Levels often represent the first half of an A Level course but may also be taken as a freestanding qualification.
AS
Cambridge AS Levels are accepted in all UK universities and carry half the weighting of an A Level.
Countries such as the USA and Canada also recognizes AS.
AS
Cambridge International AS have a proven reputation for preparing
learners well for university employment and life.
They help develop the in-depth subject knowledge and understanding which are so important to universities and employers.

Equalization of the British IGCSE & “A” level to Bahrain General Secondary School Certificate:
“should have a passing grades in GCSE,IGCSE,five “O” level subjects and a passing grades in Four AS Level, as they equal two”A”level
Entry to BIBF
5 IGCSE and 4 AS - students will be accepted at Foundation Level
Arabian Gulf University
Student must have a Secondary School Certificate ( 5 IGCSE and 4 AS= Secondary school Certificate according to MOE)
Along with their own entrance test.
RAS Al KHAIMAH Medical & Health Sciences University (UAE)
British curriculum: 2 AS level with C grade after completion of 5
IGCSE/GCE/O level with minimum grade C. Courses must include Physics, Chemistry
and Biology with at least 2 of them at AS level and 1 at IGCSE/o/GCE level
University of Bahrain

Accepts AS but students will be enrolled at foundation level.
In USA sometimes require SAT Subject Test also

Foundation programme entry requirements Students who have taken the Tawjihiyah will be
considered for foundation entry. We typically require students to achieve a minimum grade average of 80% to qualify for our foundation programmes.
We offer 1 year foundation programmes in Biological Sciences, Computer Systems Engineering, Electronic and Communications Engineering, Forensic Science, Management Science, Mathematics and Physics.
