Electronic files may be supplied on CD or DVD in Macintoshformat. Digital files up to 10 MB may also be emailed to [email protected]. For sending files larger than 10MB via internet contact your sales representitive for FTP (FileTransfer Protocol) information. A faxed or jpg sample of yourad for guidance will be required.
File Format:We accept Quark XPress 7, Adobe Photoshop filesup to CS3, Adobe Illustrator files up to CS3 and Adobe AcrobatPDF files with all fonts embedded (X 1-A Compliant). Pleaseinclude all EPS files, TIFF files and other graphic files linked tothe document. All photographic or tonal images should be inCMYK or Grayscale and at least 300 dpi when used at 100% oforiginal file size. All line art or bitmap images should be atleast 1,000 dpi when used at 100% of original file size. All adsmust have fonts supplied in Mac format, embedded fonts orfonts converted to curves/line art are also acceptable. Adsmust be supplied as CMYK or grayscale, not RGB, Spot orpantone colors—including any embedded image files. Blackand white ads must come with a paper proof.
Color ads should be accompanied by color guidance, such asan iris or tektronics. If proper color guidance is not submitted,Adirondack Life is not responsible for any color variances.
Ad Creation and Production ChargesADIRONDACK LIFE does not charge for standard ad design orproduction services. Advertisers will be provided an e-mailproof of their ad for approval. Custom artwork (image manipu-lation, special effects, multiple ad variations or changes) will bebilled at the rate of $50/hour. Advertisers must provide images,photos or drawings, logos and ad copy to be used in ads.
