1 ADHOC PANEL PREPARED BY THE DEPARTMANT OF BIOCHEMISTRY, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI FOR THE ADHOC APPOINTMENTS IN THE COLLEGES OF THE DELHI UNIVERSITY FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2016-2017 30 th June 2016 This panel (FOR THE ADHOC APPOINTMENTS IN THE COLLEGES OF THE DELHI UNIVERSITY FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2016-2017) for considering candidates for ad hoc appointment has been prepared based on the information provided by applicants in the application format, and categorizing as per the University guidelines given below. Despite clear instructions, many applicants did not fill the enclosed proforma and information had to be retrieved from their CVs. At the same time, many candidates did not mention their percentage or status of award of Ph.D. or the UGC/CSIR/NET certificate number and we had to write/contact to each one for their missing details otherwise they would have been eliminated from the panel. There is lot of difference between Ph.D. awarded and thesis submitted as the person having submitted thesis but without M.Phil. or NET becomes ineligible or category could be different. Applicant should understand that clear information is important to decide upon the category and incomplete information makes our job difficult and delays the process. Despite our best efforts there might be some errors due to lack of sufficient information provided, which might have resulted in wrong categorization. The colleges are required to check candidate’s original certificates to ascertain the category as per university guidelines. The department has not verified the information provided by the candidate. *AD-HOC Category as per University of Delhi Guidelines S.No. Qualification to be taken into consideration Category Category 1.
