Purpose and Intent of Project• The Address Management System was to be created to link

into the custom developed Assessor’s CAMA System being developed by the County Developers.

• A new updated Service Request System was to be created to be the access point into the Address Management System.

• A new system called ActionASR was to be developed so that the Assessor’s Office could link addresses to their assessor records.

• The primary goal has been to better integrate these system components to prevent having data duplication, and to hopefully eliminate errors between systems.

Where We Started

• Address Annotation• Address Fix Tool• Parcel Ticketing System• No database history• Address Letters• Rural Address Books• CRW TRAKit (LOCsites)

Summary of Goals

• More intuitive system• Less Duplication of Data• Less Data Entry• A system that would maintain every address• Some historic information stored in the

system.

Page 6: Addrss Management and Service Request Systems

The Process

• Created a set of Requirements for the system for the Application Developers could use to start development

• Explanation of current workflow• Data Clean Up and Apps Data Model Design• Conversion• Creation of Address Point Layer and joining to Situs Address

Management data.• Post Migration Clean Up

The Data Model

Service Request System

• Updated from previous version.• Searchable history of all address changes.• Any changes to addresses must have a unique

ticket number.• Includes accept/reject, documents,

comments, email notification of completion.• Examples: Address changes, new addresses,

multiple updates. Road name edits.

The Views Created

Address Management System & GIS Conversion

• In GIS, create a point feature class for every SitusAddressID record.

• In GIS, update SitusAddressID and/or ThoroughfareID. Pulls most info from table views.

• Once address is created, Assessor’s office connects address to Schedule Number through another application using PPI number.

Page 12: Addrss Management and Service Request Systems

Results

• No longer have free-form address/parcel data.• Now have a history of address changes.• Now maintain additional attributes– Parcel, Building, Multi-Unit Bldg, Building Unit.– Primary and Secondary Types, Entity Types.

• New point feature class Address Points.

Unanswered Questions

• How will this Address/Road system be used in the new Assessor’s application.

• Use address point labeling for display purposes OR join annotation to SitusAddress tables. – Need connectivity to display information from

SitusAddress tables.
