ANADARKO Corporate Responsibility ANADARKO IS MAKING A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE REDUCING GHG Anadarko is reducing CO2 by more than 400 metric tonnes in a single month by connecting a drilling rig that traditionally uses diesel-fuel powered generators to an electrical grid. PARTNERING FOR CLEANER AIR Anadarko is working in partnership with the Environmental Defense Fund and leading universities by contributing research on sources of GHG emissions and helping to develop new technologies to reduce them. INNOVATING Anadarko has converted close to 450 vehicles (18 percent of our fleet) across the U.S. to run on natural gas which not only provides environmental benefits but significant costs savings as well. USING TECHOLOGY TO MINIMIZE EMISSIONS, CUTS NOISE POLLUTION AND COSTS ANADARKO IS TAKING A PROACTIVE APPROACH TO CONTINUED REDUCTIONS IN GHG EMISSIONS COMPARED TO TRADITIONAL VEHICLES, NATURAL GAS VEHICLES REDUCE CO2 EMISSIONS BY 20% - 30%
