Item # 17: Specification Section 323119 Decorative Metal Fences and Gates:Provide 80 linear feet of decorative metal fence around theexisting gas regulator station. Fence shall match the metalfence portion of the security wall found in Detail 2, Sheet A-4.7 and Detail 3, Sheet A-4.5. Fence shall be 6' high andcontain 2 distinct, 3' personnel gate opening and gate withlocations to be determined. Provide all posts andaccessories as required to complete the work.

Item #18: Specification Section 015000 Temporary Facilities and Controls:Contractor shall furnish and install a 6' high chainlink fencearound the perimeter of the site and shall match the existingchainlink fence along the boundary common with the churchparking lot. Provide gates at entrances and as needed allowaccess to the site during construction and provide securityduring not work time. Contractor shall remove this fence andgates near the end of construction (at a time approved bythe owner and architect) and complete work in the areaswhere the fence was located. The removal includes thefence along the property line common with the churchparking lot. Fence materials and gates become the propertyof the owner and are to be delivered to owner's county roaddepartment facility.

Item # 20: Specification Section 230593 "TESTING, ADJUSTING ANDBALANCING FOR HVAC":

NEBB-Certified TAB Contractors shall be allowed to provide aproposal for the project provided that the TAB process providedis materially identical in all respects to the specified AABCCertification. This provision shall include but shall not be limitedto:

a. Contractor shall assure that only NEBB-Certifiedtechnicians will be on-site completing TABactivities. No TAB activities shall be completed bynon-certified employees or subcontractors.

b. Contractor shall provide a Project PerformanceGuarantee which indicates that an AABC-CertifiedTAB firm will assist in completing the requirementsof the Contract Documents if the NEBB-Certifiedfirm fails to comply with Contract Documents(230593, 1.6).

Item # 21: Clarification: Specification Section 233113 "METAL DUCTS":It is the intent of the contract to test all installed ductwork asspecified (233113, 1.3). A Duct Pre-Installation Conferenceshall be held on-site as specified to advise all parties as tothe exact scope and procedure for duct testing. NEBB-Certified TAB Contractors shall be allowed to provide aproposal for the project provided that the Duct Testingprocess provided is materially identical in all respects to thespecified AABC Certification.

Federal law at 40 C-R Part 122 prohibits point source discharges of stornwater associated with industrial activity to a water body of the Commonwealth of

Kentucky without a Kentucky Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (KPDES) permit. The operator of an industrial activity that has such a storm water

discharge must submit a NOI to obtain coverage under the KPDES Storm Water General Permit.
