Theory of Acupuncture

Meridians are energetic lay lines that are mapped throughout the human body. Their existence is proved boy the observation of the effect of various pressure points. These are recognized acupuncture pressure points. The Meridian system can be thought of as an energetic distribution network. In acupuncture, fine needles are inserted into the patients body in pre-selected acu-points. The effect of the needling is expected to cause changes in the pattern of the patients energy system.

Twelve million Americans received acupuncture treatments in 1995, while the United States government has allocated over $1 million in studies of the effectiveness of acupuncture. The patient volume in the student clinic at the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Houston, for example, increased by more than 105% from 1997 to 1999.

PANAMA–

Panama has many acupuncturists. Some are from China and do not speak Spanish or English so you might need a translator or just let them diagnose and treat off of your pulses, tongue, body odor and appearance.
