What is zang-fu?In TCM(traditional chinese medicine), the body is treated as a whole that is

composed of several "systems of function" known as the zang-fu. The zang systems are associated with the solid, yin organs such as the liver while the fu systems are associated with the hollow yang organs such as the intestines.

meridians:there are channels along which the energy or qi of the psychophysical system is considered to flow.Acupuncture Points:Acupuncture points were believed to be holes that allow entry into acupuncture meridians or channels in which qi and blood flow. There are over 2000 acupuncture points on the human body that connect with the meridians.

secondary meridians that travel up, down and around our bodies.  The 12 main meridians are referred to as follows:

Lung, Large Intestine, Stomach, Spleen, Heart, Small Intestine, Bladder, Kidney, Pericardium, Triple Heater, Gall Bladder and Liver.

A new research:Effects of acupuncture on rates of pregnancy and live birth among women undergoing in vitro fertilization: systematic review and meta-analysisBMJ, doi: 10.1136/bmj.39471.430451.BE, (Published 7 February 2008)

Objective To evaluate whether acupuncture improves rates of pregnancy and live birth when used as an adjuvant=helper treatment to embryo transfer in women undergoing in vitro fertilization.

Acupuncture in Iran:It’s about 20 years that acupuncture is common in Iran.All equipment used in this type of medicine are made from abroad .  we have High consumption of synthetic drugs and we need alternative medicine*. Training will be given in foundation & advanced.

*: A variety of therapeutic practices, such as naturopathy, herbal medicine, that do not follow generally accepted medical methods and may not have a scientific explanation for their effectiveness.

Some news:There are approximately 17,000 acupuncturists in the United States.Training here and abroad is usually a 3- to 4-year process, including all aspects of TCM, which includes not only acupuncture but also herbal formula, massage, dietary therapy, and exercise programs.Nearly 4,000 physicians in the United States have been trained as acupuncturists.
