Joshua and the battle of Jericho

God chose Joshua to be the next leader of His people.
‘Don’t be afraid, Joshua,’ said God. ‘I will be with you wherever you go.’
On their way to the promised land, the Israelites had to pass through the city of
Jericho. The city had tall walls and strong city gates and lots of guards.
God told Joshua what to do: ‘Tell seven priests to march around Jericho once every day for six days. On the seventh day they must march around the city seven times while the priests blow their special trumpets. And at the last trumpet blast, everyone must shout as loudly as they can.’
Everyone obeyed God – and the walls of the city fell down with a CRASH!
