single computer system or network, but others have gateways to other computer systems, enabling users to send electronic mail anywhere in the world.

Short term for WIKIPEDIAA collaborative Web site comprises a collective work
of many authors. Similar to a blog in structure and logic, a wiki allows
anyone to edit, delete or modify content that has been placed on the Web site using a browser interface, including the work of previous authors.
In contrast, a blog, typically authored by an individual, does not allow visitors to change the original posted material, only add comments to the original content.
The term wiki refers to either the Web site or the software used to create the site.

Social bookmarking is to examine how they work. Links are listed on a network, then whoever has
access to that network can search for links that pertain to the keywords that person is searching for.
Each link has three keywords associated with it, generally keywords that are optimized on their webpages, and when those keywords are searched for, ideally, it is that particular link that comes up.

Short for Voice over Internet ProtocolCategory of hardware and software that enables
people to use the Internet as the transmission medium for telephone calls by sending voice data in packets using IP rather than by traditional circuit transmissions of the PSTN.
An advantage of VoIP is that the telephone calls over the Internet do not incur a surcharge beyond what the user is paying for Internet access.

Once a chat has been initiated, either user can enter text by typing on the keyboard and the entered text will appear on the other user's monitor.

accessible personal journal for an individual. Typically updated daily, blogs often reflect the
personality of the author.
BLOG
A social structure made of nodes that are generally individuals or organizations.
A social network represents relationships and flows between people, groups, organizations, animals, computers or other information/knowledge processing entities.
The term itself was coined in 1954 by J. A. Barnes.
SOCIAL NETWORKING
Abbreviation of Uniform Resource Locator (URL) it is the global address of documents and other resources on the World Wide Web.
The fi rst part of the URL is called a protocol identifier and it indicates what protocol to use
second part is called a resource name and it specifies the IP address or the domain name where the resource is located.
The protocol identifier and the resource name are separated by a colon and two forward slashes.
URL
A Web document that is a shortened version of a Web page that has been created for syndication. Feeds usually end in .xml or .rss.
