You may use any materials provided to you and will first work as a team to develop a template for your glider. uLIST OF MATERIALS: Corrugated Cardboard, Thin Cardboard, Duct Tape, Scissors, Sharpie, Ruler, Ball-point pen, Binder Clips, Paper clips, Cardboard Cutter. uPRO TIPS: Symmetry of the plane is very important. Center of gravity of plane should be near the wings and can be adjusted by balancing weights. Give some thought to the shape of the wings and if you could incorporate the airfoil shape. uHOW DO AIPLANES FLY:

uGOAL: You are a team of engineers given the challenge of creating a glider out of simple materials that can fly straight as far as possible. You may use any materials provided to you and will first work as a team to develop a template for your glider.

uLIST OF MATERIALS: Corrugated Cardboard, Thin Cardboard, Duct Tape, Scissors, Sharpie, Ruler, Ball-point pen, Binder Clips, Paper clips, Cardboard Cutter. uPRO TIPS:

    • Symmetry of the plane is very important. • Center of gravity of plane should be near the wings and can be adjusted by balancing weights. • Give some thought to the shape of the wings and if you could incorporate the airfoil shape.
