Long Term GoalTo develop student’s reading,comprehensive, receptive andproductive language skills byadopting 21st centuryteaching skills.
Short Term Goals To impart the information about a great
artist “Rembrandt” to the students by:1) Using new questioning strategies to
promote critical thinking.2) Focus on encouraging instead of praising.3) Encourage to work with collaboration and
interaction to get the best answers and results.
Help students understand that they can useeach other as resources.
Instructional Strategies and Tasks
Students will be provided time for discussion.
Students will be allowed to share and exchange their knowledge in groups.
A movie on the topic will be shown in the library to develop their interest.
Activity period of Speaking Skills will be utilized for the same purpose.

The Principal may not agree with the new approach.
I will share my ideas and strategies with her to convince her to her satisfaction.
There may be some students without a computer at home.
I’ll take them to the computer lab after school to get the information.
Some parents may not agree to let their children stay back after school.
I’ll create a Newsletter to inform parents about my new strategies and plans.
Some students may not be willing to work with specific students.
I’ll group them according to their own choice.

Students brought information about “Rembrandt” and read it individually.
Students will bring pictures of the paintings of Rembrandt from the Internet.
They formed groups and exchanged their knowledge on Rembrandt.
They’ll put them on the soft board in class with their names.
They had a quiz on the great artist.
Students will put their information on the board too.The Principal will be invited to the class to see the efforts of the students, and to appreciate and encourage them.
Note: There will be a class assembly on Thursday August 4th. Bring your parents.
I will set up a schedule for my action plan and
will display it on the soft board
