• Act 304 was gazetted under the purview of Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation Malaysia (MOSTI).

• The Director-General of Health The Director-General of Health where the activity to be licensed under this Act is in respect of the use of ionizing radiation for medical purposemedical purpose as determined in Section 15 (2) Act 304.

• RHSS, MOH is entrusted as the secretariat for the D-G of Health, in all activities that related to the use of ionising radiation for medical purposes.

17(1) Licenses issued under this Act shall be subjected to such conditions as may, be imposed by the appropriate authority which may in respect of the conditions imposed by it, add to, vary or revoke such conditions at any time.

22(1) The appropriate authority may at any time under any of the following circumstances in its discretion cancel, or suspend any license ;

a) Where the licensee has committed an offence under this Act

b) Where the licensee has committed a breach of any of the conditions of the license

c) Where the licensee ceases to work or operate the nuclear installation in respect of which the license was issued

d) Where in the opinion of the appropriate authority it would be in the public interest so to do

53. (1) The licensee shall establish a comprehensive QAP for medical exposure with the participation of appropriate qualified experts in the relevant fields as specified by the appropriate authority.
