To promote and deliver a high-quality recognition program that highlights the contributions of members of the chemistry enterprise by actively engaging chemical practitioners worldwide.

• Nov. 1, 2009: Nominations close

• Nov. – March 2010: Selection Committees appointed and filled

• March—July 2010 : Selection Committees review nominations, discuss via conference call, send ballot

• Aug. 2010: Winners announced in C&EN and to divisions

• March 2011: Banquet & Award Addresses

• Providing public recognition of the recipients at an annual banquet
