The site for our project is located in the heart of Morristown. The building at this site was recently demolished and it is here that we are building our museum. The dimensions are approximately 362’ x 83.33’.

LOWER LEVEL

- Main auditorium with just over 200 seats- All utilities, offices, and storage spaces are included as

well.

FIRST FLOOR

- Standard security desk, ticket counter and gift shop. - Replica of “Washington Crossing the Delaware River” boat

- General information about the Revolutionary War.

- Exhibits for Fort Nonsense and Powder Mill- Manufactured weapons

- Guns and other machinery/ equipment used.

-Exhibits for the Ford Mansion- The battle plans devised by Washington for the

war- A recreational area for interaction

-Vivid recreation of the Revolutionary War encampment at Jockey Hollow

- Realistic viewpoint of the daily life of the soldiers

- The Battle of Trenton exhibit room - An exhibit to represent the action of the war.

- A toy room which simulates the recreational activites of soldier families.

- A place for children to interactively enjoy the museum.

Goal: Make the building environmentally sustainable. Made completely of glass, except for walls with

concrete siding. Allows for natural lighting and less electricity

needed to light the building.The materials used were environmentally

friendly.
