To attain the ILM assured standard, BHSF training programmes meet the competency criteria listed under each benchmark component. To maintain consistent quality and assured status our programmes are reviewed by a quality professional annually.

Programme overview

Here at BHSF we have teamed up with the ILM, a City & Guilds Group, to provide internationally recognised qualifications that map against university qualifications. These qualifications have academic rigour in their assessment process so you can be assured that wherever you go they will be acknowledged. We currently offer level 3, 5 and 7 in:

• Coaching and Mentoring • Leadership and Management

BHSF is an approved centre

We deliver our programmes in a friendly and accessible manner providing personal 1-1 support, using a combination of group tuition workshops and live webinar coaching support. Therefore, geography will never be an obstacle to staying on track. Over a prolonged period, this enables anyone (even those with no prior knowledge) to feel comfortable in knowing they will be guided and supported to achieve their qualification.

Richard Bisiker

Head of Learning & Development at BHSF

Richard is experienced in leadership and coaching with over 28 years in HR and L&D roles, having worked as Director, Trustee, Chairman and in Non-Exec Roles. Richard has thousands of hours coaching at director level, chairing peer-to-peer leadership and coaching groups for The Institute of Directors.

He has experience in strategic and operational roles in both large multi-site organisations and SMEs and is now engaged in establishing the BHSF Learning & Development Academy as an Approved Centre for the Institute of Leadership & Management.

He has been awarded “Highly Recommended” as a finalist for the Non-Executive Director of the Year two years running (2017 & 2018) by The Institute of Directors, West Midlands.
