Back home, my mother

would also prepare a delicious,

balanced breakfast- but since I started living without my parents, most mornings my breakfast consists of a cup of tea and some organic yogurt of a bowl of Kashi cereal.

I always try my best to eat organic products. Though it may becostly, I belive that it is not only better for the environment, but it is also great for the body.

Lately, since I moved into my own apartment, I have startedto cook a home more often. Before, I would eat out a lot withmy friend.

Soups are my specialty. Not only do they require little ingredients, but they are also quick and easy to make.

Eating at home is not only a lot cheaper, but it is alsohealthier. I get to see what goes into the dishes and how it isprepared… the only problem is that I am not a good cook.

I love going grocery shopping, But for some reason, I always end up with items that I can’t make a complete meal out of.

But the other week, I bought some real ingredients and made my first bowl of pasta!

While to you this may seem like a usual bowl of spaghetti, it “Doesn’t tell nearly the whole story.” It was the first time I have ever made pasta.

Many things when wrong with my spaghetti-

I bought the wrong type of sauce, I forgot certain ingredients and I didn’t remember to salt the pasta while I was boiling it. Along with that, I didn’t boil the pasta long enough, but in the end it was an enjoyable experience.

I may not be the best cook in the world, but I still love to try new recipes and make special dishes for me and my friends.

Though to be honest, this doesn’t stop me from reverting back to my old habits and eating out again :)
