Key Lessons Learned on Collaboration1. Establish a convening entity that is objective

(a local Switzerland)

2. Meet people and organizations where they are(not where you want them to be)

3. Identify a good place to start collaborating based on the energy of the group (not what you want others to do for you)

4. Address the what’s-in-it-for-me (WIIFM) for all stakeholders

5. Build trust through collaborative action (not just words)

6. Focus on improvement projects (not starting new programs)
