Introduction To MoodleRooms:

ACCEPT Education Collaborative is proud to offer our innovative online professional development courses to our school districts. Our courses utilize the MoodleRooms online learning platform via Blackboard, one of the most widely used online course sites in higher education institutions. The ease of use and interactive features of MoodleRooms make this tool an invaluable resource to provide state of the art professional development opportunities to public school employees. Participants are required to set up their free MoodleRooms account prior to being granted access to the ACCEPT courses that their employing school district has purchased. You will receive a welcome email from ACCEPT, which will have an instructional video and a guide to signing in and changing your temporary password. You will also receive an automated email from Moodlerooms with your username and temporary password. Technology Specifications: Before beginning your course, please make sure that you have internet connection and that any security features, such as restricted access to external sites including YouTube, are disabled. You will also need a printer connection as many of the courses include handouts and activities that require printing. Lastly, district administrators should be sure to check with their technology departments in advance to ensure that enough bandwidth is available for the number of participants that will be accessing the course, as this may affect the website speed.

If you have any difficulty logging into your course, please contact Jen Treacy at [email protected]
