    more than US $4.6 billion in 2006. The market will grow beyond $7 bi l l ion by2011, with a five-year compound annual growth rate of 8.6% (Gartner,Forecast: Business Intelligence Platforms, Worldwide, 2006-2011, Update)

    In 2006, the business analytics software market reached U.S. $19.3 billion,representing a growth rate of 11.2 percent. The worldwide business analyticssoftware market is expected to continue to grow at a healthy compound annualgrow th rate (CAGR) of 10.3 percent ov er the next fiv e years.
