As a practicing internist, I recognized the need to adapt to the changing world of medicine but felt unprepared and overwhelmed… As I attended the Health Catalyst Accelerated Practices Program, I had a moment of realization that this experience could be career changing for every participant. The project-based learning provides the knowledge and tools to implement best practices, recognize variation, improve efficiencies, and reduce waste and cost. Thanks to the AP Program, the ‘impossible’ now seems possible.

AP Training is a great way for organizations to jump start
their improvement work. It allows you to understand not
only how to utilize the data but other aspects of
healthcare that impact our work every day. Although
anyone would benefit from the training, it is most
beneficial for a team to go together that has been
charged with an improvement initiative in their
organization. In addition, leadership should attend and
understand the methods and concepts of becoming a
data driven organization. Overall, great training!

AP PROGRAM
Improvement work, like everything else in healthcare, happens in teams. We recommend that you find one or two people who are as passionate about improving outcomes as you are. Then we can help you take the next step by offering preferred team pricing to the AP Program. Attending the program with your own team is also the best way to make the most of your in-class time. It’s here that you’ll work with your team on an improvement project that you will implement at your organization.
ENHANCE YOUR EXPERIENCE
The AP Program is designed to create value for patients and communities by preparing healthcare providers and leaders to accelerate outcomes improvement.
This highly immersive, experiential program requires real-world application and prepares participants to:
• Improve quality, cost, and patient satisfaction outcomes• Analyze data using statistical process control charts• Facilitate systemwide change by using proven leadership principles
