That would have been her 87 th birthday. She didn’t have it easy her whole life, but she did her best and helped get me to Jesus. That’s what Chrisan mothers do. On this Mother’s Day Sunday we’ll be thinking about how God can use an ordinary mother in extraordinary ways. If our naon ever needed prayer, it needs it now. On Thursday, May 7, you have two opportuni- es to parcipate with your Chrisan family in Hot Springs on the Naonal Day of Prayer. You can go to First Nazarene Church from 11:00–1:00, or you can go to Trinity Church from 7:00-9:00 pm. These churches are hosng this important me of prayer for a naon divided and slipping farther and farther from God. Only God can save us. Let’s pray for a sweeping revival. Hope you can aend one of these sessions. I find that I’m sll wearing orange a good bit these days to remind me to pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in the world. A number of Chrisans are wearing orange on Sundays for that reminder. Several of our folks are doing that too. We can’t fix policies or influence persecutors, but we can pray and we show our solidarity with them. Please remember these people in your prayers. See you Sunday!
