Overton AICE Diploma students have been accepted at schools including Vanderbilt, Howard, Dartmouth, BYU, Emory, Duke, Tennessee, Princeton, Georgia, Rhodes, Butler, Columbia, Wheaton, Michigan, Georgetown, Cornell, the US Naval Academy, and the University of Amsterdam. AIDP can help open doors for you to great schools like these and more! ü Students take seven AICE courses in pursuit of the Cambridge AICE Diploma. ü They take A-level Global Perspectives and a third year of a world language. ü They are exempt from the CTE course requirements of other pathways to allow room and flexibility to take on this challenging course load. Marketing Management Pathway ü Do you have an interest in business, marketing, management, or finance? ü Would you like to own your own business someday? ü Do you want real-world learning with hands-on research projects?
Marketing Management prepares students for the complexities of the business world by examining basic principles of business, marketing, and finance as well as exploring key aspects of leadership, ethical and social responsibilities, and careers.
Proficient students will be equipped with the foundational skills to succeed in any of the Business, Marketing, or Finance programs of study.
DECA prepares emerging leadership and marketing in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high school and colleges around the globe. DECA provides competition, travel and scholarship opportunities!
Interdisciplinary Science and Research Pathway ü Do you have an interest in science, medicine, or research of any kind? ü Do you enjoy problem solving, and seeking answers to difficult questions? ü Do you want to work on real-world scientific investigations engaged in by
graduate students and professional scientists? Interdisciplinary Science and Research is a program run in partnership with Vanderbilt University to provide and enhance students’ understanding of STEM concepts and research principles while empowering teachers through scientific research.

Freshman Sophomores Juniors Seniors First year students engage in several project-based learning experiences including: basic research techniques, antibiotic resistance, neuroscience (CTE), physics of flight, and a survivor unit.
During the sophomore year, the project-based learning is designed for a quarter-long research experience. The topics are: parasitology (Wolbachia spp.), food science, water quality, and forensics
The junior year is split into two semester long projects. Students have more choices in their semester-long research project. The fall general topic is Environmental Science, and the spring is Toxicology.
During the senior year, students choose their own research project to conduct as a year -long investigation. The end product is a scientific paper, and formal presentation.

Pathway Courses Introduction to Business Marketing Management II Retail Operations
Examine basic principles of business, marketing, and finance in addition to exploring key aspects of leadership, ethical and social responsibility.
Examine the challenges, responsibilities, and risks managers face in today's workplace regarding finance, business ownership, risk management, marketing information systems, purchasing, promotion, and human resources.
Examine supply chain management and merchandising services. Decision-making skills, financial management, customer relations, ethics and legal issues are also addressed
