ORDER:-

The students, their parents, Principals and Managements of the Affiliated Engineering coll.eges haverequested to grant concessions in credit based promotion rules.

Under the circumstances as stated above and based on the minutes cited in ref (1), the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor is pleased to extend certain concessions for promotion to III and IV B.Tech classes for theAcademic year 2012-13 is as given below. The concessions are granted only for the academic year 2012-2013, subject to ratification by Academic Senate and Monitoring and Development Committee.

Following are the details of credits required for the students who got admitted into B.Tech duringacademic years from 2005-06 to 2010-l 1.

REQUIREMENTS FOR B.TECH REGULAR STUDENTS TO GET PROMOTION FROM II YEAR TO IIIYEAR.

CREDITS REQUERMENTS FOR B.TECH (LATERAL ENTRY) STUDENTS TO GET PROMOTIONFROM III YEAR TO IV YEAR.

(ACADEMIC YEAR 2012-13)

The Principals are hereby permitted to promote the candidates to III and IV years, as the case maybe, who have secured the required credits, by considering the concessions granted in promotion rules, asgiven above.

The Principals are required to prepare the final list of detained candidates both hard copyand soft copy, and submit the list on or before 3l-07-2012. ' wToAll The Principals of Affiliated Engg.
