Academic Achievements

Class Edge Online Teaching Championship VII

‘When technology meets teaching, education gets revolutionized’.

Delhi Public School Kolar Road Bhopal, gave opportunity, to its teacher

fraternity, to participate in the Tata Class Edge Online Teaching Championship -

VII edition.

Two teachers from the Junior segment and six teachers from the Primary and

Middle segment participated in the school level round. Ms. Kratika Mishra

(from middle school segment) qualified for the Regional round.

Career Excellence Award

Career Group organized a felicitation programme to honour distinguished

academicians with Career Excellence Awards. Madam Principal's nomination for

this award speaks volumes of her dedicated efforts and exemplary services in

the field of education.

Two eminent teachers from DPS Kolar Road Mrs. Rachna Sharma, HOD-

Commerce Department & Mrs. Mani Sharma, Faculty-Commerce also

received this prestigious award at Career College, Bhopal on 2nd August 2021.

Award for service to Humanity

During covid-19 Dr Aparna Chanodia (Faculty,

Sanskrit Department) was honoured by Ganguly

Yogpeeth for her tireless efforts to serve humanity

during the pandemic.

Students’ Achievements

2nd International Abacus Olympiad

Mridula Sharma of class l B was 1st Runner Up in 2nd International Abacus

Olympiad.

WOW (The Literary Fest)

WOW (Writing and oration made wonderful), a virtual Inter School

Competition was hosted by Delhi Public School, Kolar Road.

WOW is a signature event organised by the department of English, DPS Kolar

every alternate year to inculcate love for language and reading in young

minds. I4 schools from Madhya Pradesh participated in the competition.

Three Competitions were organised that offered a creative platform to the

students to explore their latent talent and give wings to their imagination.

Rhyme & Rhythm (Recitation) for classes III and IV with the theme

‘Dreams’.

Master the Mike (Declamation) for classes VII and VIII with ‘Leadership’

as the theme. Students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. They

Renaissance and Sathiya Manthan DPS Eldeco Lucknow

"All our dreams come true if we have the courage to pursue them with

determination and perseverance."

DPS KOLAR excelled in the Inter School Literary Fest hosted by DPS Eldeco

Lucknow both in English and Hindi. Students from around 47 renowned

schools across India participated. DPS Kolar was declared ‘Winner’ in the

"Inter School Jazz Chant Competition" with the theme; Rapunzel. Anuj

Chanodia, Samaksh Shrivastava, Tanushree Vijayvargiya and Aditi Awadhani

were part of the winning team.

In Sahitya Manthan (Hindi Literary Competitions) Aryan Nema of class VII

was placed as First Runner's up in BHASHAN Competition (Aao Kahein Man

ki Baat). Sanvi Rai of Class X was the First Runner Up in Sunao Koi Fasana

Competition (Moral Story telling based on a picture given on the spot).

Mind Wars Competition

Mind Wars is a knowledge platform on the Zee5 app

primarily for school students studying in classes IV to XII,

with short fun quizzes on hundreds of challenging yet

entertaining topics.

Mindwars, conducts 2 special quizzes in a week.

Aanshi Saini of class VII from

Delhi Public School, Kolar Road has won Weekend Quiz and she is among

one of the top 40 students who have participated Pan India.

Dhairya Garg of class XI from the Delhi Public School, Kolar

Road is the finalist of State Championship among all the

schools who have participated from Madhya Pradesh.

St. Xaviers High School Inter-School Debate Competition - The Second

Annual Jagannath Memorial Inter- School Debate-2021

(JMID 2021)

DPS Kolar Road was declared the winner of The Second Annual Jagannath

Memorial Inter School English Debate Competition organized by St. Xaviers

High School on 28th August, 2021. The winning team comprised of students

from Class VIII, Sarthak Jain, Soham Jain and Pratyush Jhawar. The topic

was “Artificial Intelligence could spell the end of Emotional Intelligence”. The

team was awarded a cheque of Rs. 5000/- and merit certificates.

‘VOILA-International Fest and Virtual Open Day /Virtual Platform

To experience the vibrant synergy of various cultures of the World, Delhi Public

School, Gomti Nagar Extn. Lucknow organised the VOILA-International

Fest and Virtual Day Open through Virtual platform. Around 53 DPS schools

all over world participated in this mega cultural event. Delhi Public School,

Kolar Road Bhopal participated in all the 10 competitions. Srishti Negi of

Class VIII bagged First Position in the Event "elon Moi - Become a youtuber",

Aadya Singh, a student of Class IX won Second position in the category of "VJ

– HUNT, Smruti R. Parihar class XI was awarded the title 'Ingenious Garb'

in the category 'Walk of Imagination, Recycled Runway- Recycling Fashion

show. Guneet Singh Javanda, class VIII won the title of ZESTFUL

PERFORMANCE in the category of Magic-Music Concert.

Inter School Event- MOSAIC-21 conducted by DPS Saharanpur

Delhi Public School, Saharanpur organised the 3rd edition of an Inter- School

Fest, MOSAIC 2021. Delhi Public School Kolar Road, Bhopal participated in

this inter school fest under different categories and emerged as ‘Runner Up’.

Khushi Gulhani of Class VIII bagged First Position in the event

“Infographics”. Manav Anish Jose, Class VIII won First position in the

category of AD-MAD. Khushi Kaur, class IV bagged Second position in the

category 'Nature and me’. Students secured Third position in the following

categories:

IT FEST 2021

An Inter School Competition was organized by DPS FARIDABAD.

DPS Kolar stood First. The Students created a thought provoking movie on the

topic ‘The Indian Space Saga’.

INTERNATIONAL MEGA-TECH –

International Mega-Tech organized by DPS Eldeco Cyber Research and

Education Wing Lucknow. Around 11 schools took part from all over India in

which DPS Kolar Road stood third.

Atharv Pathak of class V A took part in the Techno-Frenzy competition

(Primary category- III to V) and bagged the third position. Dhairya Garg from

IX E and Tanushree Vijayvargiya of X A also took part in a Quiz event Dizzy-

Wizzy and were awarded a Quiz Master Appreciation certificate.

Guru Dev Gupta Memorial Literary Fest

The Virtual Annual Literary Fest 2021 ‘Festival De Literatura’ was conducted on

14th January, 2022. Delhi Public School Kolar Road was declared ‘Overall

Champion’. 11 renowned schools from all over the state participated.

SHRI GURUDEV GUPTA MEMORIAL INTER SCHOOL DANCE

COMPETITION

Delhi Public School Kolar Road, Bhopal hosted the Shri Gurudev Gupta

Memorial Inter School Solo Dance Competition (Virtual) on Thursday 14th

January, 2022, to celebrate the Birth Anniversary of Late Shri Gurudev Guptaji

patron and fatherly figure. Eleven schools of Bhopal participated in the event.

The theme of the competition was Devotional.

Aditi Sharma of Delhi Public School Kolar Road was adjudged the Winner. She

won a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- & an e-certificate.

STATE LEVEL BIODIVERSITY QUIZ

State level Biodiversity quiz was organized by the MP Biodiversity Board on 5

January 22. Three students, Abhishek Mohanty, Rishabh Kothari & Dhairya

Garg from our school participated. 52 teams from all over MP participated in the

online Quiz.

100 questions had to be answered in 1 hour and 30 min. Our students secured 90

marks out of 100 and stood 8th out of 52 teams.

National Innovative STEM Model

Shreshth Verma & Rishabh Kothari of Class XI won the third prize in National

Innovative STEM Model Competition – 2021 V 1.0, organized by LNCT

Group Hackathon club, Bhopal (On virtual platform). They were awarded

Rs. 10,000/- Cash prize and free mentoring support for three months at KLIC-

LNCT.

PARLIAMENT QUIZ - 2022

Delhi Public School, Kolar Road bagged the second position at the Parliament

Quiz – 2022 organized for the first time by Pandit Kunjilal Dubey Rashtriya

Sansadiya Vidya Peeth, on 7th January, 2022 at Vindhayachal Bhawan, Bhopal.

17 schools participated in this event in the preliminary online round held on 4th

January, 2022. The team of DPS Kolar comprising of class XII students, Tejas

Paliwal, Shlok Paliya, Vansh Agrawal performed remarkably well.

The function was graced by Smt. Krishna Gaur, MLA, MP Legislative Assembly

along with other members of the Sansadiya Vidya Peeth. Delhi Public School,

Kolar won a cash prize of Rs. 7,500/-.
