This steponlyapplies to vehicleswithaBoseSubwooferinthepassenger footwell.

Removetheplastic centercover from theairvent.Itsimply pulls off.This will expose asingleTorx screw.

Now removethelarge Torx screw that fastens thesubwooferto theconsole.

Pull rearwards on thesubwooferenclosure.Thewholeassemblywill now befree.Unplug thesubwooferharness andremovefrom thevehicle.

TheArrow showsthe location ofaverydelicate clip.Becautious.On thepassenger side thetopcorner ofthepanellikes to stay inplace.

Useascrewdriver to create alever arm (aspictured,andbevery careful)andthenbump thebottom to get that topclipfree:

Apply force quickly andfirmly to thebottom ofthepaneltowards thedashboard.On thedriver´s side youmayhave to put thescrewdriver against theradioface.Wrapping amicrofiber towelaround it prevents any damage.

Press on both metalTABSwithboth hands using your indexfingers while sliding out thewhole ACmoduleby pulling fromthefront face with your thumbs(it´s easier than it sounds)

Now useatowel or something soft andwork on top.There are4T6screws inthebackofthefront panelthat needs to beremoved.

Removethe9T6screws that holds theboard inplace,donot disconnectany cables.

Carefulwheninstalling back!

Removerubber sheet andLCDscreen carefully (which has4parts,we will cover that later)
