    The light oil burner JOIL becomes a part

    and integrates the line dedicated to low

    capacities.

    Faithful to Joannes care in the safeguard of

    the environment, JOIL burners have a com-

    bustion head whose particular shapegua-

    rantees low emission of CO and NOx.

    The reduced dimensions and the optimal

    positioning of the components makes the

    coupling of JOIL burners to modern heat

    generators and maintenance

    operations very easy.

    This line consists of seven models;

    three are equipped with pre-heater

    on the combustion head.

    Their thermal power is included

    between 35,6 and 106,7 kW.

    CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS

    The air shutter automatically closes when the burnerstops and this forbids cold air flow in the boiler. Thismeans energy saving for the user.

    A new conception of scroll and conveyor profilesguarantees high pressure values of combustion air;the burner is therefore fit for work on any kind ofheat generator, even with semi-pressurised combu-stion chamber.

    Easy and precise adjustment of combustion, thanksto the particular structure of the combustion headand of the deflecting disk, adjustable by a tool evenwhen the burner is working.

    This permits to optimise the combustion parametersin the most critical working conditions.

    The easy access micrometric screw device permits asteady and precise air adjustment.The high fan prevalence, the air adjustment on thedeflecting disk, the high blending speed permit asafe ignition and a stable burner working.

    The conformation of the hydraulic circuit permitsthe immediate and total fuel interception whene-verthe burner stops.The innovating features and the particular structureof the combustion head assure a high combustionefficiency at the start and during the working.

    A universal flange permits to install the burner onto

    the boiler by only one screw. A self-protected,external multi pin plug allows easy and quick elec-trical connections; the plug disconnection permits tooperate safely on the burner. A locking device posi-tions the fuel flexible pipes in the right seat, preser-ving them from any possible damage.

    The external air inlet makes the burner exceptio-nally noiseless even at peak working.

    The die cast aluminium body, the combustion headand the stainless steel deflecting disk, the compo-nents quality, the high manufacture standard, the

    severe production tests guaranteethe burner high reliability.

    EASY ACCESS

    the cover is removable to make the burnermaintenance easier;

    the component cover can be removed in caseof total overhaul;

    a hanging device permits to work easilyon the burner.

    Continual research to optimise

    combustion performance and bring down

    the polluting emissions has brought aboutthe development of the AZ PR range,

    a series of single stage burners

    with potential ranging between

    14.2 and 53.4 kW.

    The five AZ PR models

    are equipped with fuel pre-heater.

    The range of medium-capacity

    oil burners includes two single-stage

    models and four two-stage models,with power output ranging

    from 118.6 to 776.3 kW.

    CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS

    Die cast aluminium body.

    Patented device to increase the static pressureof the fan (only for models G50 and G70 OIL).

    Combustion air intake provided with sound insula-tion to achieve a maximum comfort noise level, 72dB (A), according to the power class of the burners.

    Sliding flange to get the maximum adaptability onany kind of heat generator.

    Easy maintenance thanks to the possibility to pullout the whole the combustion head from the back

    side without disconnecting the burner from theheat generator or from the fuel feed pipeline.

    Easy survey of the fan thanks to the rear access.

    Internal electric connections provided with fastcouplings to make the eventual replacement offaulty components easy.

    In compliance with the EEC standards such as:Regulations concerning the Low Tension (EEC 73/23);Regulations concerning the ElectromagneticCompatibily (EEC 89/336); Regulations concerning

    These burners have been designed to be fitted

    to high-output boilers with pressurized

    or negative pressure combustion chamber.

    They are very high performance burners which respond

    to the high standard operating requirements

    and reliability expected by Joannes customers.

    All models in the range conform to

    the European regulations in force

    and are equipped with long, adjustable

    draught tube and stainless steel

    heat-resistant combustion head terminal

    ACCESSORIES SUPPLIED

    2 flexible tubes, nozzles, nozzle wrenches, multiple plugsfor electrical wiring, boiler insulating seals, user and main-

    tenance handbooks.

    CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS

    Stabilized ventilation with a fan flow-rate/pressure curvethat guarantees a reserve of pressure especially usefulduring peak start-up and where there is highback-pressure in the combustion chamber.

    Structure and precision of the mixing head providing auniform air distribution and high combustion efficiencywith reduced CO and NOx emissions.

    Combustion head can be adjusted, by means of 2 knobs,even when burner is on.

    Universal-holed sliding flange for easy on-boiler installa-tion, cleaning and maintenance.

    The JM LN series single stage gas burners

    have been designed for application

    on high performance pressurised boilers

    and are available in 9 models

    with thermal power between 41 and 190 kW.

    The very low NOx emissions

    (class 3, 80 mg/kWh) are obtained

    by means of a special combustion head.

    They have very compact overall dimensions and low noise

    pressure, and can operate with methane gas or LPG

    The combustion head is adjustable, equipped with a gas

    ramp complete with stabiliser, double valve and filter.

    The combustion air regulator is located inside the burner

    ( models JM 4 LN and JM 7 LN) or externally (models JM 13

    LN, JM 21 LN and JM 30 LN).

    Combustion is optimised by the uniform air distribution.

    All the JM LN burners have an air shutter that closes byforce of gravity at stoppage and a stabilised ventilation

    system.

    Installation and maintenance operations are facilitated by

    the user-friendly arrangement of components and mobile

    flanges with universal drillings (sliding for models JM 13

    LN and JM 21 LN).

    Upon request there are accessories kits and valve seal con-

    trol kits available.

    CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS

    JNS G 600 and JNS G 1000 are progressive two-stage air-

    blown gas burners with reduced starting flow rate.

    Methane gas functioning. Provided for power modulation

    operation with the specific kit module.

    Gas ramp with 2 class A solenoid valves (slow opening

    adjustment solenoid valve and fast safety solenoid valve),

    stabiliser, air minimum pressure switch, gas minimum

    pressure switch and gas filter. Combustion head with mini-

    mum adjustment ring and examinable, compact, comple-

    te with stainless steel nozzle and steel baffle plate. Air-gas

    mixture to combustion head optimised by automatic com-

    burent air flow adjustment through automatic electrically

    servo-controlled closing shutter and gas flow rate regula-

    tion. Ionisation probe for flame presence control.

    Possibility to connect a remote release button in terminal

    board.

    LOW, AVERAGE AND HIGH CAPACITY MODELS

    DUAL FUEL MIX BURNERS

    Model MIX G 13, semi-pressurised with automatic sin-

    gle-stage operation (80.7 - 163.7 kW) is appropriate

    for heat generators that require relatively low poten-

    tiality.

    The cover in acoustic insulation material, considerably

    reduces the noise of the burner.

    The pressurised burners MIX G 50/2 (170-543 kW), MIX

    G 70/2 (3213-705 kW), MIX GP 75/2 (315-864 kW), MIXGP 120/2 (474-1350 kW) and MIX GP 180/2L (598-1993

    kW) with automatic two-stage operation, are desi-

    gned for high potential pressurised heat generators;

    the two-stage operation excellently meets the diffe-

    rent heat requirements.

    These models are equipped with separate fuel pump

    motor ( MIX GP 75, MIX GP 120, MIX GP 180).

    All the burners of the MIX series have an aluminium

    die-cast screw conveyor and a high performance and

    prevalence fan.

    All burners are supplied with use and maintenance

    handbook.

    Derived from models working with oil and gas of thedifferent application ranges, these burners of our mix line,

    can use alternatively both fuels covering a wide

    capacity range (from 80,7 to 1993 kW).

    They were planned and built following

    the appreciated Joannes philosophy,

    that puts reliability, high security,

    easy installation and maintenance first.
