DESIGNER Stephanie Cruz is the in house

CEREMONY
COORDINATOR
Alex Burns is the wedding
coordinator for Trinity Cathedral
in Downtown Miami. Her
expertise in the ceremony
planning spans more than 5
years. She assists brides with
selecting the right ceremony
music, choosing the perfect
verse for the reading, and
making sure they look perfect
as they take their first steps
down the aisle.
We are a team of professionals who believe that you are hiring us not only for our great
taste and out of the box ideas, but for our expertise and attention to detail. We believe
you can have an amazing event without having to spend oodles and oodles of money.
Quality is of the utmost importance.
The flowers have to be the right shade of pink (pink, magenta, fuchsia, blush, powder,
salmon – it’s more than just pink you know). The meat has to be tender and juicy (yummy…our executive chef is European trained and a culinary master). The music has to
bring the house (well, ballroom) down. The photos have to transcend generations (and of
course, make all of us look our best). The cake… well let’s just say all diets are going to be
broken.
Everything needs to be perfect, and it’s our job to make that happen. It’s your day.
“All in all, we were so ecstatic to have
Maggie, Alex, and Stephanie as our

EXPERT ADVICE | MAGGIE | LEAD PLANNER
TIP 1: SET YOUR BUDGET- This is probably the most stressful part of your
wedding planning. By determining how much
you want to spend early on, you will be able to
research vendors and venues that stay within
your target range.
TIP 2: PRIORITIZE- You know how much you want to spend, now
what do you want to spend it on? Venue, flowers
& decor, food, premium open bar? What is most
important to you as a couple? Once you start to
prioritize it will help you begin your research.
TIP 3: GET ORGANIZED- It’s best if you hire a wedding planner. They are
the experts! A wedding planner will help keep
you on track in terms of deadlines, tasks,
budgets, and timelines. Their expertise will save
you money and time in the end. If you have a
one stop shop in your area, that is always a great
option. At Inspired Events for example, you get
everything from the planning to the food, décor,
rentals, and entertainment in one shot for one
FIXED price. This really helps keep your budget in
check
TIP 4: BE REALISTIC- Yes, it’s the most important day of your life, but
keep in perspective the honeymoon, new home,
and other expenses associated with married life.
Don’t let money create a strain… You can plan
an elegant, fun, and memorable affair without
breaking the bank
TIP 5: ENJOY- Remember… this is your journey. Enjoy every step
of the way. Have patience and take it all in.
Before you know it the day is here! On your big
day, dance…eat…drink…and be married!
“Planning your wedding
can be a challenging and
emotional time. It’s
important to keep the following tips in mind as
you go through the
process.”

EXPERT ADVICE | STEPHANIE | LEAD FLORAL DESIGNER
TIP 1: TIME OF YEAR- Every season has signature blooms. If you must
have tulips, don’t choose the Fall. Non-seasonal
blossoms include roses, hydrangeas, and orchids.
Those are imported year –round.
TIP 2: COLOR PALETTE- Combining different shades of the same hue
make gorgeous bouquets and centerpieces.
The “ombre” look which currently is all the rave
starts off with the darkest shade of a color and
progressively gets lighter. This concept is great not only for your flowers, but for the cake too.
TIP 3: PICK A THEME OR STYLE Do you want the roaring 20’s with feathers and
glam or a vintage garden wedding using rustic
elements yet incorporating soft details.
Determining your style will help the floral designer
create the perfect centerpiece to compliment
your overall décor.
TIP 4: BE REALISTIC- This tip applies to all areas of your planning. Some flowers are very rare and expensive and
are perfect to incorporate into your bridal
bouquet but not necessary to incorporate into
all of your centerpieces. Set a floral budget and
have a candid discussion with your designer so
they can create the right centerpiece and
bouquets that fit in your budget
TIP 5: ASK FOR A SAMPLE- It’s very important to see the sample prior to the
big day. You want to make sure the designer
was able to capture your ideas and turn them
into exactly what you’re looking for. Order a
sample 4 weeks prior to the wedding so you can
make any necessary changes with sufficient
time.
“When determining your
color palette, think of all
the shades of the colors
you’ve selected. By
blending different tones of
the same palette you can
create a beautiful &
harmonious masterpiece”

EXPERT ADVICE | ALEX | CEREMONY COORDINATOR
TIP 1: SELECT A VENUE Church weddings are not for everyone,
especially since inter-faith celebrations are so
popular. Select a venue that’s close to your
reception site, and always has a Plan B site.
TIP 2: CHOOSE YOUR OFFICIANT It’s important to feel comfortable with your
officiant . Choose someone that’s
representative of you as a couple.
TIP 3: WRITE YOUR VOWS This is your chance to express to the world in
words what your bride or groom means to you.
Don’t be shy! Express yourself!
TIP 4: BRING THE FAMILY TOGETHER It’s not always possible to have everyone be a
part of the wedding party. Honor special
people in your lives by having them take part in
a ritual during the ceremony, for example they
can be a reader, assist with the coin
presentation, or serve as witnesses on the
marriage license.
TIP 5: WEDDING MARCH? Selecting the music is very important. Be sure to
meet with your ceremony musicians and choose
songs for the various rituals you may be
celebrating during the ceremony. It’s important
that you make it your own!
“Sometimes we loose site
of what we are
celebrating when
planning a wedding. Of
course the party is
important, but that
moment when you say I
do is something you will
cherish foever.”

the décor.
IMPORTANT TIPS:
Ask questions:
• You want specifics on the type of items included.
• How many hours is the package for?
• What type of flowers come with the centerpieces?
• Is it a fondant or buttercream cake?
• Don’t be afraid to ask for exactly what’s a part of your package.
• Visit an actual wedding set up
