Inverter Drives

Fläkt Woods inverter drives are for use as indicated against fan product numbers in therelevant catalogue sections for the control of 3 phase fans.

The use of speed control to decrease fan running speeds when conditions do not requiremaximum speed, can result in substantial energy savings therefore reducing running costs.Running a fan at half speed requires 1/8th of the power from the motor. Also, Fläkt Woodsinverter drives remove the need to purchase and install a separate DOL (Direct on line) starter,and due to the design considerations for the HVAC market, drives are supplied with integralR.F.I. filters

All drives are pre-programmed ready for use on site, and are easy to install. Simple installation instructions are supplied with each drive.

Warranty Clause

Fläkt Woods tested and approved inverters and speed controllers are listed in our catalogueand can be utilised with our air movement products.

Use of Fläkt Woods equipment with an inverter or controller, that is not from our approvedlist, may invalidate the warranty of the fan should any faults occur.

The inverters that we offer within our catalogue are designed for HEVAC applications andsupported by our own inhouse team of specialists.

These inverters have been tested and approved with Fläkt Woods products to ensure noabnormal harmonic levels occur, however, we are unable to support untested products.
