Craster develops innovative luxury product ranges that help to enhance and differentiate the brands of premium Hotel and Restaurant groups. Craster is an internationally recognised brand, with distribution in over 20 countries, and manufacturing in the UK, the Czech Republic and the Far East.

We are a preferred supplier to many of the world’s great hotel and restaurant groups including Accor, Fairmont, Four Seasons, Hilton, Hyatt, Jumeirah, Marriott, Oberoi, Ritz Carlton, Rezidor, Rosewood, Starwood hotel groups, and D&D, Gondola, Nandos, Prezzo, and TRG restaurant groups. We are also excited to announce that Craster products are being made available through a growing number of select premium retail partners, including The Conran Shop, Heals, Fortnum and Mason and Arts & Science Tokyo.

What’s new in 2012...

It has been a busy year for Craster! Our team has grown significantly, and as such, in August, we moved to new offices to the wonderful Great Western Studios next to Paddington Station. We are now neighbours to a raft of highly talented creative businesses. The increased space has also given us the capacity to launch our new London Showroom, which opened in January of this year, and which has proved to be a huge success for us and a fantastic showcase for the growing Craster product range. If you would like to make a visit, we would be delighted to see you!

Our product ranges have continued to evolve in each of the key areas of our business:

• Our most significant steps have been taken in the expanding scope of our Conference and Banqueting buffet table system. The modular concept now includes a range of table tops in various shapes and sizes and a choice of several beautiful, durable materials with which to build your buffet concept. These include tempered glass, ebonized oak, and some superb quality laminates for particularly high impact environments. “Our buffet service has improved definitively!” Lars Windfuhr, Hyatt Regency Churchill, London.

• We have had particularly positive feedback from our Restaurant clients around the launch of our hand-made black ply and copper nailed Shaker Frites Boxes and Risers. As such we have now launched a miniature cone version to the range. We have also expanded the rustic oak range to include cube risers which can also be turned over to accommodate tall objects such as baguettes!

• Our In-Room Dining Tray offering has expanded with a new Modern Stainless Steel Handled Tray tray with inset shelved handles.

• And finally our front of house Contract Catering trolleys have also evolved; with the launch of an ebonized Three Tier Service Trolley now featuring a super durable stainless steel internal support frame.

Our beliefs

We are passionate about creating beautiful, intelligently designed, durable products that emphasize the beauty of the underlying materials from which they are made. It is rarely the materials in a product that wear out first, but rather the construction will fail or the design will age. In a time where natural materials are increasingly scarce, it is one of our core principles to ensure that our products last the natural life of the materials themselves. We also ensure that our timbers are sourced from sustainable forests.

We also worked with the opening team of the Corinthia Hotel, London on the development of a bespoke range of leather bedroom accessories. The example detailed here is a laundry delivery box with suede lining and embossed, dark chocolate leather exterior.

Product Development Case StudiesCraster provides a creative platform that empowers the buyers of premium Hotel, Retail and Restaurant groups to become fully involved in creating innovative luxury product ranges that differentiate their brands.

In-room Dining

In the hotel sector, Craster has worked on the development of custom Food and Beverage as well as Bedroom products for a number of landmark projects in London including The Grosvenor House Apartments Park Lane, The Corinthia Hotel Whitehall, The W Hotel Leicester Square and The St Ermins St James. Internationally recent projects include The Hyatt Andaz Amsterdam, The Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi and The Park Hyatt Hyderabad.

Inspired by our Modern Tray with Stainless Steel Handles, we worked with the Ritz Carlton Vienna property to design and develop an In-Room Dining Tray with legs made from solid Walnut, with inlaid stainless steel handles. The legs have been engineered to snap open or shut to ensure secure usage.


Restaurant

Influenced by the popularity of our range of Rustic Oak presentation pieces, we worked on the development of an authentic logo branded, stackable condiment and fish & chips presentation which has proved to be extremely popular.

Craster’s Flexible Buffet Table range is comprised of folding table leg frames, removable table tops, and six types of trolley designed for compact storage and protection of the tables.
