    FADE IN:

    EXT. LONDON, SOHO DISTRICT. NIGHT.

    A night sky.

    Flashing signs. Reds, blues and yellows beam from every shopwindow. A familiar street in London, The district of Soho.

    Various sounds of LAUGHING and WHISTLING coming from drunkencrowds milling around.

    A wild cat feeds on roadkill.

    Cups full of beer are downed in one mouthful.

    A group of lads crowd round a shop window.

    More laughing. More whistling. More drinking.

    Rain pours down on a young SETH(21) who is chewing a stickof gum. An attractive white skinhead. He is wearing aleather jacket and shades which match the rest of his blackattire.

    Seth wonders down the street. He stops at a window whichshines red. He stares through the glass. Smiling whilstNoticing his reflection. he puts black gloves on.

    INT. LONDON, SOHO DISTRICT, WHORE HOUSE. NIGHT.

    This house is small, painted red and has a bar sitting tothe left of the entrance. A few chairs scattered opposite,some situated around a TV that’s fixed on the wall.

    A bar man who is cleaning glasses nods towards Seth.

    Seth makes his way towards the narrow wooden stairs.Pointing to the direction he’s walking in, to the bar man.

    The bar man nods back.

    INT. WHORE HOUSE, 1ST FLOOR. NIGHT.

    Seth stops at a black door which is covered in graffiti. Awhite sign slapped in paint reads "1st Floor- Rebekka:Brunette. Sexy. Busty. Gorgeous" then in smaller print itreads "new for you, this floor, knock at the door, you wontbe bored with this whore".

    Seth walks towards the next set of stairs.

    INT. WHORE HOUSE, 2ND FLOOR. NIGHT.

    Seth brushes his hands along the staircase then onto the redpainted walls.

    Seth whistles the song - Twisted Nerve.

    Upon reaching another black door he spits out his gum.

    This door reads "2nd Floor- Lisa: Young, Slim, Lithuanian".

    Seth knocks to a rhythm.

    The door unlocks. Seth pushes it open and enters.

    INT/EXT. OPEN ROAD. DAY.

    An old Nissan Micra drives down an open road. A sign for

    Manchester is spotted. The engine light is flashing.

    Seth pokes his head out the window, sucking in his last pufffrom his cigarette. He then flicks it out the window withhis oil stained fingers.

    Another sign reads "Thirty Miles- Chester, Fifty Miles-Manchester".

    He pulls out a small photo from his pocket. It shows hisgirlfriend JOSIE(19) a beautiful small framed Universitystudent.

    He smiles and puts it in the glove box.

    The car plunges forward, leaving a trial of black smokeleaking from the exhaust pipe.

    INT. JOSIE’S / LILLY HOUSE, JOSIE’S BATHROOM. DAY.

    Josie is staring at her reflection from her en-suite tiles.Josie starts to heave. She just about manages to spew it outinto the toilet.

    Josie’s head is buried into the toilet. Her hands floppedover the side. She reaches for the handle and flushes. Shegags. She coughs. She upchucks once more.

    Josie runs the bathroom tap. Desperate for a glass of water.She waits for the water to run from a mild brown colour tocrystal clear.

    JOSIE.Fucking tap, fucking house.

    Josie pours a glass of water. She necks the lot.

    INT. JOSIE’S BEDROOM. DAY.

    A small bedroom. Basic furniture. Josie is now sitting on amat on the floor. Lit Candles surround her. Speakers on thebed with a CD next to it titled "Sounds of the ocean".Ashtray and a spliff to the right of her. She places herhands on her knees. Breathing in deeply until her chestpeaks. She exhales.

    A knock at the door.

    JOSIE.Come in.

    The door opens. Black shoes head towards Josie. It isLILLY(22) who is elegantly well built. The door slams behinddisrupting the status quo.

    JOSIE.I’ve been sick again Lilly.

    LILLY.Third day in a row.

    Josie turns and stares out the window.

    JOSIE.

    It cannot be possible. Seriously,can you even remember the last timeI saw Seth? It’s been months.

    LILLY.Do you know what- you do hear ofstories where you can sit on atoilet seat and-

    Josie quickly turns back round.

    JOSIE.Stop, shut up now.

    LILLY.Well, if that toilet cubical haspreviously been used for youknow...

    Josie begins to point.

    JOSIE.Most stupidest thing you have said.Honestly.

    Lilly cackles.

    LILLY.

    Think you’ll be okay for the roadtrip? Seth will be here soon youknow- excited?

    JOSIE.You know Seth, trouble.

    LILLY.Still rocky or love struck?

    Josie sparks up a joint.

    JOSIE.

    I never know. One moment we arefine, next thing it’s oh howsJames.

    LILLY.James? The guy you met last yearfrom the Reading Festival?

    Josie takes a few more puffs of the spliff then passes it toLilly.

    JOSIE.Yeah- I’m worried he’ll be therethis time.

    LILLY.It’s a huge place.

    JOSIE.Huge place- but I only need to bumpinto that one, one tiny person outof millions of people. That’senough for Seth to want to kickoff.

    Josie blows out the candles.

    Lilly wonders over to the bed and switches the CD playeroff- the radio comes on instead. She checks out the CD.

    LILLY.Sounds of the ocean?

    Lilly raises an eyebrow.

    RADIO.(V.O.)

    A young woman, Lisa. Found murderedin the district of Soho. Raids havetaken place to combat prostitutionin the area recently. The police

    have no suspects.

    Lilly Turns the CD player off completely.

    JOSIE.Another murder.

    LILLY.Heard about that Lisa girl earlier.Thanks Google for reminding me howdepressing life is.

    Lilly flashes her smart-phone.

    JOSIE.Trouble is these days, It’s shovedin your face- unavoidable.

    Lilly gives an agreeing nod.

    JOSIE.You packed?

    LILLY.Who do you think I am. Packed liketwo months ago.

    Josie pulls a bag out from underneath her bed. Grabbing asmany items at once from her shelves. There thrown into thebag.

    JOSIE.Don’t just stand there!

    Josie turns to grab some deodorant.

    LILLY.Towels?

    Josie picks up a sweater.

    LILLY.(CONT’D)

    Protection? Condoms?

    JOSIE.I probably have cobwebs.

    Josie shoves a phone charger, toothpaste and mouthwash intoher now tightly packed bag.

    LILLY.I’m taking some, stupid not too.

    Lilly picks up a bear.

    Josie immediately takes it off of her- throwing it onto thebed.

    Lilly puts her middle finger up.

    JOSIE.You’re really not helping.

    Lilly laughs.

    LILLY.Calm down you wet wipe.

    Lilly goes over and picks up the spliff.

    JOSIE.Your such a-

    Lilly takes a puff from the spliff.

    LILLY.

    Such a what, Josie?

    Lilly carries on puffing away at the spliff whilst exitingthe room.

    EXT. JOSIE’S / LILLY HOUSE, STREET. DAY.

    A dense neighborhood full of typical British houses. Manyshowing signs of wear and tear. A sofa lays in one frontgarden. For sale signs can be seen potted in many differentcolours up and down the street.

    Seth, now in a black hoodie. Arrives outside Josie’s studenthome.

    Josie emerges from the house with tight double denim and abackpack. Lilly trails behind in a jumper and jeans dragginga heavy suitcase.

    Seth gets out the car.

    Josie jumps into his arms- exhaling a sigh a relief.

    JOSIE.It’s been so long.

    SETH.

    Too long.

    Seth grips her waist. Leaning her back, he examines herphysique. They kiss.

    SETH.(CONT’D)

    You didn’t fuck any Scouse ladsthen?

    Josie shoves Seth, only forcing him to tighten his grip.

    JOSIE.

    You promised.

    SETH.No. I promised I wouldn’t tap yourphone.

    Josie grips his wrist.

    JOSIE.Don’t start.

    SETH.Any welsh lads visit? Wales is only

    down the road.

    Josie exhales. Letting go of her grip, allowing her arm tosink.

    JOSIE.Not today.

    SETH.Anyone from Chester?

    Seth pulls Josie forward. Laughs and throws his arms aroundher.

    SETH.I’m joking. Honestly, I have missedyou.

    Lilly heads towards the car, two hands on the suitcase. Shethrows it into the boot slamming it shut.

    SETH.Oi, watch it.

    Lilly stares down at her watch.

    LILLY.

    Come on, Come on, we’re alreadytight on time! Break it up, Breakit up.

    Lilly tries to push them apart.

    SETH.Just because you’re drying up.

    Seth reluctantly lets go.

    LILLY.My third date dress is in the wash

    if you must know.

    JOSIE.Since last year?

    LILLY.I’m pretty sure you have cobwebsJosie.

    Seth goes to grab Josie’s arm. She avoids this by facingLilly directly.

    Josie shakes her head subtly.

    JOSIE.Lets go.

    All three enter the car. Seth being the driver. Lilly in thebackseat and Josie in the passenger seat.

    EXT. FORREST ENTRANCE. NIGHT.

    The car sits at the side of the road. The car lights beaminto the distance, creating a spotlight that doesn’t endwithin the Forrest. Otherwise, They are surrounded bydarkness.

    INT. FORREST, CAR. NIGHT.

    Seth picking his nails in the drivers seat. Josie slumped inthe passenger seat and Lilly leaning against Josie’s seatfrom the back. Bags of food sit next to Lilly.

    SETH.Roll a joint will ya.

    No response. Seth honks the horn.

    LILLY.Last one, Okay. We need to save it.

    Seth rolls down the window and blasts the heaters on.

    Lilly shoves Josie’s head. Josie darts forward.

    LILLY.

    Oi you little bitch. Wake and bake.

    Straightening her hair, Josie begins to roll a spliff.

    JOSIE.Shhhhh.

    Lilly sighs whilst opening a can of cider. She catches asmirk from Seth. She rolls her eyes while passing him a can.

    Smoke waves into Lilly’s face, followed by the spliff. Lillysnatches it from Josie.

    LILLY.All mine, bitch.

    Seth sips the can of cider.

    JOSIE.You smoke way to much.

    Lilly downs the whole can of cider in one huge gulp.

    LILLY.Drink too much to.

    Josie reaches for some snacks.

    JOSIE.Well. you know I’m used to all thissince University.

    LILLY.Uni- oh please. Did you never sellany wild oats? Like crash out in afield with an ex.

    Seth turns firmly to face Josie.

    JOSIE.No.

    LILLY.Oh my god. Seth. This is a joke.This one time- we was at a party.Josie was so tripped out, layingthere on the sofa. I swear I sawher eyes roll to the back of herhead. We had to-

    Josie coughs and quickly gives Lilly a head-shake.

    Seth ignores this and arrogantly reaches for the glove-box.He stares at the photo of Josie.

    LATER.

    The Car lights now turned off. The moon high in the nightsky. The trio are sound asleep with empty cans, wrappers andlids covering their bodies.

    Josie’s eyes open wide, pupils dilated. Pausing for amoment. She sits up carefully taking her legs from Seth’slap.

    Beer cans fall.

    JOSIE.Shit.

    Josie upon exiting the car, falls.

    EXT. FORREST. NIGHT.

    Josie is Lying on the grass next to the car. She lets out ahowl which turns into a quite giggle. She starts to crawlaway from the car.

    She notices a puddle of beer on the floor. She staresintensely as if time had come to a halt. She examines thepuddle closer, little bubbles begin to escape to thesurface.

    She puts her face into the puddle.

    INT. THE BLACK ROOM. NIGHT.

    A black room. No light. No shadows. Just Josie frozen in atrance. A NAKED WOMAN(25) approaches from a distance. TheNaked Woman grabs Josie’s hand. They both walk deeper intothe darkness.

    INT. THE WHITE ROOM. DAY.

    A door opens. A dazzling white room. Snow is falling. TheNaked Woman emerges through the door. Josie trailing behind.Walking deeper. The door disappears.

    The Naked Woman points towards a black door at the end ofthe room.

    The Naked Woman begins to point harder and faster. Her lipsmove, no sound is heard. She disappears.

    JOSIE.Wait!

    Josie runs towards the black door. The door moves furtherand further away. Finally reaching the door. She tugs thehandle with full force. The door swings open. A Bright lightpours over Josie as she slowly becomes translucent.

    INT. THE RED ROOM. DAY.

    A crib lays in the centre of a red room. Josie slowly walks

    over and places her hand onto the crib. A BABY(6-18months)lays underneath a blanket. A CROWD slowly appear in thebackground holding gifts. The baby begins to cry.

    Tears fall from Josie’s eyes. She picks up the baby andwraps it up in the blanket. Placing the baby close to herchest.

    The crowd disappears.

    The baby disappears.

    The crib disappears.

    Josie starts shaking. screaming. stamping.

    SETH.(V.O.)

    Babe, Babe, Babe.

    The Naked Woman appears. Eye contact is made between themboth. The Naked Woman mouths words- still no sound can beheard.

    EXT. FORREST. DAY.

    The morning is started by Seth shaking Josie vigorously.Lilly stands next to Seth smoking a spliff. Josie’s eyesopen.

    In shock Josie stands up analyzing the dirt and leaves allover her jeans- she brushes herself down.

    SETH.God sake. Did you fall out the car?Idiot.

    JOSIE.

    What’s the time?

    Seth picks off the remaining leaves.

    LILLY.Morning.

    Lilly takes a drag from the spliff.

    LILLY.(CONT’D)

    Tripped?

    JOSIE.Definitely took a trip.

    The trio stroll towards the car.

    INT. MOTORWAY SERVICES, DEPARTMENT STORE. DAY.

    A few dozen PENSIONERS are cheering at the scoreboards thatflash on the TV screens in a small casino. CHILDREN arerunning round the tables of a busy restaurant next door. Thetrio are mooching around a department store.

    Lilly picks up a bag of nuts.

    LILLY.Look at this.

    She shoves them in Josie’s face.

    LILLY.(CONT’D)

    Rip off.

    She tosses them out the way.

    SETH.Come on- I’m starving, I told youwe should have got in line nextdoor. Look how busy it is now.

    Josie keeps busy by picking up items, examining them quicklyand returning them in place.

    JOSIE.You guys run ahead? I’ll pick upthe snacks.

    Josie grabs a bag of nuts.

    LILLY.Be my guest.

    Lilly and Seth make their way to the exit. Josie waits andwatches.

    Josie quickly jogs down a few isles. Passing hundreds ofproducts until she finally reaches "Pregnancy test". Sheexamines this one closely.

    INT. MOTORWAY SERVICES, RESTAURANT. DAY.

    Seth and Lilly uncomfortably sit opposite each other. Menusblock each-others P.O.V. Seth peaks over the menu.

    LILLY.What you going to order?

    SETH.Cheeseburger.

    Lilly retaliates by peaking over her menu.

    LILLY.Hamburger, me.

    Both of their Eyes lock. They both awkwardly smile.

    LILLY.This is lovely.

    SETH.It’s swell.

    Lilly pans the room.

    LILLY.

    Where’s a fucking waiter.

    A MALE WAITER(34) dressed smartly walks towards their table.His badge flashes "DAN".

    INT. MOTORWAY SERVICES, TOILET. DAY.

    Josie sits in a dirty bathroom which has green tar likewalls with matching cubicles. She plods herself onto atoilet seat staring sky high.

    INT. MOTORWAY SERVICES, RESTAURANT. DAY.

    Dan pulls out a pen and paper.

    DAN.What we having?

    He brings the pen to the paper.

    LILLY.Cheese-

    SETH.

    Hamburger.

    Dan grabs the two menus. Dan turns to face the restaurantkitchen and whistles.

    (cont’d)Two Hamburgers coming up.

    Lilly rolls her eyes.

    Dan rushes to the next table.

    INT. MOTORWAY SERVICES, TOILET. DAY.

    Josie is standing opposite a murky mirror. She is thumpingher stomach as hard as she can. She lets out a scream andslams her fists down onto a sink.

    JOSIE.Shit. Shit. Fuck.

    Josie hits her stomach once more.

    INT. MOTORWAY SERVICES, RESTAURANT. DAY.

    Lilly and Seth are sitting in silence. Lilly twiddles herthumbs. Seth goes to bite his nails.

    Dan returns to the table with two hamburgers. Throwing theplates down with a smile before running back into thekitchen.

    LILLY.Well he’s cut his tip in half.

    Josie approaches and sits herself down next to Seth as hetakes a bite of his burger.

    LILLY.Where you been? Where are thesnacks?

    Josie grabs a menu.

    JOSIE.Don’t matter.

    Josie gives an unforgiving stare.

    Lilly picks a hair from her burger.

    LILLY.Bastard. Make a wish- I wantedsnacks with my burger not diarrhea.

    Lilly blows the hair.

    JOSIE.Give it a fucking rest will you.

    LILLY.Calm down. I asked you a simple

    question?

    Josie leans forward.

    JOSIE.Fuck you!

    Seth takes another bite.

    LILLY.No, fuck you. You piece of shit!

    Josie storms out of the restaurant. Lilly stares to thefloor then catches Seth’s eyes.

    LILLY.

    What’s her fucking problem?

    Seth fights to keep his food down.

    EXT. FORREST. NIGHT.

    The trio are surrounding a fire, roasting marshmallows. Adrunk Seth takes a swig from a bottle of vodka whilst Josieis wrapped up in a blanket sitting on a log. Lilly is firstto take a bite. The marshmallow melts from her lips likesyrup.

    LILLY.Yum.

    Lilly licks her lips.

    JOSIE.The fires going out.

    SETH.It’s fine?

    Josie coughs.

    LILLY.Erm...Yeah. Get some more woodplease Seth. Make it last thenight.

    SETH.Fine, I got the hint.

    Seth downs the vodka. throwing the bottle onto the grass andruns off into the Forrest.

    Lilly gets up and comforts Josie.

    LILLY.I’m sorry. Earlier got a bitintense.

    JOSIE.No. It’s my fault.

    Lilly grabs Josie’s hand.

    LILLY.You seem extremely crazy the lastfew days. This ain’t like you?Sounds of the ocean.

    Josie’s laugh quickly turns into a sob. Mascara runs down

    Josie’s cheeks.

    Lilly wipes away Josie’s tears.

    JOSIE.I’m pregnant Lilly.

    Lilly stands immediately.

    More cries come from Josie.

    LILLY.You sure?

    JOSIE.I don’t know how though? I don’tunderstand? I worked out the maths,I should be five weeks.

    LILLY.Seriously?

    JOSIE.Three tests don’t lie.

    LILLY.

    Are you fucking stupid. I asked youif you have protection and condoms.

    JOSIE.The trip I had even felt so real.

    Seth emerges from the Forrest holding some wood. He wavesthem over.

    SETH.Guys I found a lake. It isbeautiful.

    Lilly quickly helps Josie fix her face.

    LILLY.(Whispers)

    We’ll finish this later.

    EXT. FORREST, A LAKE. NIGHT.

    The moon high in the empty sky. Lilly sits with her legsdangling in the clear water. Seth and Josie swimming,splashing and sliding there bodies over each other in thewater.

    SETH.You’re mine. Always.

    Seth kisses her neck.

    Josie rides her body backwards deeper into the water. Sethchases her like pray.

    JOSIE.Come on.

    Seth grips her arm, pulling her into his clutch.

    SETH.Babe.

    Josie coughs.

    JOSIE.Yes Seth.

    SETH.Is there anything you need to tellme?

    JOSIE.What do you mean?

    Seth examines her reaction.

    SETH.It’s a general question. But Imean, If there’s anything you needto tell me. Now is your chance. Imean I’d be pretty mad, If I foundout something I didn’t like fromanother source.

    JOSIE.I only want to please you Seth.

    SETH.And the last couple of days.

    JOSIE.Nobody likes traveling this far.

    Seth lunges at Josie.

    Josie panics and jumps out the way. Waves pour in her

    direction.

    JOSIE.Stop, Please.

    Seth grabs Josie’s throat.

    Josie’s face turns bright red as oxygen is slowly cut off toher brain. She attempts to scratch Seth. She grabs hiswrists.

    Seth lifts her from the water. Evil in his eyes. He shovesher back down pushing her head underneath the waves.

    Lilly jumps into the lake and starts to run. This turns intoa swim.

    Josie submerged in the water.

    bubbles pour from her nose as her lungs start to collapseand her body stiffens.

    INT. THE WHITE ROOM. DAY.

    A huge white room. Josie starts running. Getting nowhere,

    going in circles she starts to scream.

    The naked lady appears. Now with a baby bump. Blood poursfrom her neck. Her lips cold blue.

    JOSIE.Who are you! What do you want!

    The naked lady slowly opens her mouth.

    THE NAKED LADY.Lisa. I am Lisa.

    Josie walks towards her.

    JOSIE.He did this to you.

    Josie is pushed back by a force. Falling to the ground. Shestarts hyperventilating. Her half-conscious body is thrownacross the room.

    EXT. FORREST. NIGHT.

    Lilly is quickly giving CPR to Josie. She goes to give mouthto mouth. Josie wakes. She spits out water and takes a hugegasp of air.

    LILLY.Your baby! Your baby! Your baby.

    Lilly frantically patting Josie on the back whilst shecoughs more water.

    Josie’s breath dramatically calms. She spits.

    JOSIE.I’m not pregnant.

    LILLY.What?

    Lilly rubs Josie’s leg.

    JOSIE.I never was. She was.

    LILLY.Er what? You’re freezing.

    JOSIE.Seth killed that prostitute. All ofthem.

    Lilly stops rubbing her leg.

    LILLY.Seth’s dead.

    Josie gives Lilly a long intense stare.

    They both look out into the lake. They can see Seth’slifeless body floating.

    INT/EXT. OPEN ROAD. DAY.

    Blank expressions on a wet Josie who is now driving theMicra. Lilly is sat in the passenger seat. Lilly is runningher hands through her matted hair. A bag that sits onLilly’s lap falls onto the floor. A barrel from a gun can beseen.

    LILLY.I told you, always bringprotection.

    Josie places a cigarette in her mouth and opens theglove-box. She reaches inside. She pulls a lighter out. The

    photograph of her that Seth originally put in there, isstuck to it.

    LILLY.Burn it.

    Josie rolls down the window and throws it out.

    JOSIE.Even better.

    The photo lands on a puddle in the road.

    Descending closer to the puddle. Bubbles appear.

    EXT. FORREST, A LAKE. DAY.

    Now underwater, Seth emerges!

    Feet tied to a rock at the bottom of the lake.

    His eyes dyed red.

    His arms open wide.

    His clothes ripped.

    The deceased body floats innocently.

    FADE OUT.
