The ABC Book can be useful in many ways. There is no one “right” way to use this book. It was developed as a resource for classroom teachers. Place soft velcro on each individual square. letter picture symbol pages Print 2 of each letter. Laminate. Keep one page in tact and cut out individual picture symbols from the second page. Put male (hard) velcro on individual pictures and female (soft) velcro on individual squares on the large page. A Few Ideas match picture symbol to picture symbol sort words/pictures by the beginning letter put letter name on empty template and have student find the words/pictures that begin with the target letter use individual pictures to categorize by group (i.e., find the “food” words, etc.)
