2. PROVIDE ALL MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT, AND LABOR AS SPECIFIED AND SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS TO MAKE THESYSTEMS COMPLETE AND FUNCTIONAL.

3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PAY FOR ALL PERMITS, FEES, TAXES, AND TESTING AS REQUIRED BY THE LOCAL CODEAUTHORITIES AND AS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOROBTAINING THE REQUIRED BUILDING DEPARTMENT PERMIT(S) PRIOR TO THE START OF CONSTRUCTION.

6. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFICATION OF EXISTING JOB CONDITIONS PRIOR TO BID. 7. COORDINATE ALL WORK WITH OTHER TRADES AND STRUCTURE. COORDINATE INSTALLATION OF ALL SYSTEMS TO FITWITHIN THE SPACE ALLOCATED. INSTALL EQUIPMENT AND COMPONENTS SO THEY ARE ACCESSIBLE FORMAINTENANCE.

8. PREPARE AND SUBMIT TO THE ENGINEER EQUIPMENT SUBMITTALS AND SHOP DRAWINGS IN ELECTRONIC FORMATFOR REVIEW. THE FILE(S) SHALL BE IN PORTABLE DOCUMENT FORMAT (PDF) FORMAT, OCR (OPTICAL CHARACTERRECOGNITION) SEARCHABLE, AND BOOKMARKED FOR EACH PRODUCT BEING SUBMITTED. DO NOT PURCHASEANY MATERIALS OR EQUIPMENT PRIOR TO RECEIVING RETURNED SUBMITTALS THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED BY THEENGINEER. VERIFY AND COORDINATE SCOPE OF WORK WITH ALL OTHER TRADES PRIOR TO SUBMITTING SUBMITTALSOR PROCEEDING WITH ANY WORK.

9. ALL MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT, AND INSTALLATION SHALL COMPLY WITH OWNER STANDARDS, LOCAL BUILDINGCODE, FIRE DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS, IBC, IMC, IPC, IFC, NFPA, UL, ASTM, AND ASHRAE GUIDELINES ANDSTANDARDS.

10. COORDINATE ANY SHUTDOWNS OR INTERRUPTION OF UTILITIES WITH OWNER PRIOR TO STARTING ANY WORK.

11. VERIFY FINAL LOCATIONS FOR ROUGH-INS WITH FIELD MEASUREMENTS AND WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THEACTUAL EQUIPMENT TO BE CONNECTED.

12. ANY CONFLICTS DISCOVERED AFTER WORK HAS STARTED, NOT PREVIOUSLY BEING APPARENT AND NECESSITATINGREVISIONS TO CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE ENGINEER FOR REVIEW ANDAPPROVAL OF ALTERNATIVE METHODS OF INSTALLATION.

13. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT THE ENGINEER 48 HOURS PRIOR TO SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION OFCONSTRUCTION OR INSTALLATION OF CEILING TILE, TO SCHEDULE AN ABOVE-CEILING OBSERVATION.

14. CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW ELECTRICAL POWER REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT PRIOR TOORDERING. SUBMIT ONE COPY OF EQUIPMENT SUBMITTALS TO ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR FOR COORDINATION.

15. ALL EQUIPMENT REQUIRING ACCESS AND MAINTENANCE (E.G. VALVES, DAMPERS, CONTROLS, ETC.) SHALL BEACCESSIBLE. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ACCESS PANELS AS REQUIRED TO FACILITATE MAINTENANCE,REPAIR, AND ADJUSTMENT OF ANY CONCEALED EQUIPMENT. COORDINATE ALL LOCATIONS OF ANY REQUIREDACCESS PANELS WITH ARCHITECT PRIOR TO STARTING WORK.

16. PREPARE AND SUBMIT TO THE ENGINEER AN ELECTRONIC FILE OF THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL(S)AT THE COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT INCLUDING RECORD DRAWINGS OF THE TEMPERATURE CONTROLSINSTALLATION. INCLUDE EMERGENCY SERVICE PHONE NUMBERS, WARRANTY INFORMATION, SPARE PARTS LISTS,MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLE-SHOOTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT. 26. DO NOT USE THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS AS THE FINAL RECORD DOCUMENTS. THECONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE THE OWNER WITH (1) SET OF NEAT, LEGIBLE, AND BOUNDPROJECT RECORD DOCUMENTS MARKED WITH ELECTRICAL FIELD CHANGES ORMODIFICATIONS.
