THE FILE(S) SHALL BE IN PORTABLE DOCUMENT FORMAT (PDF) FORMAT, OCR (OPTICAL CHARACTERRECOGNITION) SEARCHABLE, AND BOOKMARKED FOR EACH PRODUCT BEING SUBMITTED. DO NOT PURCHASEANY MATERIALS OR EQUIPMENT PRIOR TO RECEIVING RETURNED SUBMITTALS THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED BY THEENGINEER. VERIFY AND COORDINATE SCOPE OF WORK WITH ALL OTHER TRADES PRIOR TO SUBMITTING SUBMITTALSOR PROCEEDING WITH ANY WORK.
9. ALL MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT, AND INSTALLATION SHALL COMPLY WITH OWNER STANDARDS, LOCAL BUILDINGCODE, FIRE DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS, IBC, IMC, IPC, IFC, NFPA, UL, ASTM, AND ASHRAE GUIDELINES ANDSTANDARDS.
10. COORDINATE ANY SHUTDOWNS OR INTERRUPTION OF UTILITIES WITH OWNER PRIOR TO STARTING ANY WORK.
11. VERIFY FINAL LOCATIONS FOR ROUGH-INS WITH FIELD MEASUREMENTS AND WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THEACTUAL EQUIPMENT TO BE CONNECTED.
12. ANY CONFLICTS DISCOVERED AFTER WORK HAS STARTED, NOT PREVIOUSLY BEING APPARENT AND NECESSITATINGREVISIONS TO CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE ENGINEER FOR REVIEW ANDAPPROVAL OF ALTERNATIVE METHODS OF INSTALLATION.
13. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT THE ENGINEER 48 HOURS PRIOR TO SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION OFCONSTRUCTION OR INSTALLATION OF CEILING TILE, TO SCHEDULE AN ABOVE-CEILING OBSERVATION.
14. CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW ELECTRICAL POWER REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT PRIOR TOORDERING. SUBMIT ONE COPY OF EQUIPMENT SUBMITTALS TO ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR FOR COORDINATION.
15. ALL EQUIPMENT REQUIRING ACCESS AND MAINTENANCE (E.G. VALVES, DAMPERS, CONTROLS, ETC.) SHALL BEACCESSIBLE. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ACCESS PANELS AS REQUIRED TO FACILITATE MAINTENANCE,REPAIR, AND ADJUSTMENT OF ANY CONCEALED EQUIPMENT. COORDINATE ALL LOCATIONS OF ANY REQUIREDACCESS PANELS WITH ARCHITECT PRIOR TO STARTING WORK.
16. PREPARE AND SUBMIT TO THE ENGINEER AN ELECTRONIC FILE OF THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL(S)AT THE COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT INCLUDING RECORD DRAWINGS OF THE TEMPERATURE CONTROLSINSTALLATION. INCLUDE EMERGENCY SERVICE PHONE NUMBERS, WARRANTY INFORMATION, SPARE PARTS LISTS,MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLE-SHOOTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT. 17. THE ENTIRE PROJECT SHALL BE WARRANTED FREE OF ALL DEFECTS FOR ONE (1) YEAR, STARTING FROM THE DATE OFACCEPTANCE FROM THE OWNER INCLUDING ALL LABOR, TRAVEL EXPENSES, PARTS AND MATERIAL. THECONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT A WARRANTY LETTER WITH DATE OF WARRANTY COMMENCEMENT AT CONCLUSIONOF PROJECT.

3. TEMPERATURE CONTROLS COMPONENTS SHALL BE AS MANUFACTURED BY JOHNSON CONTROLS OR APPROVEDEQUAL.
4. TEMPERATURE CONTROLS CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL WIRING ASSOCIATED WITH THE AUTOMATICTEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM, INCLUDING 120V FOR CONTROL PANELS, CONTROL VALVES, AND CONTROLDAMPERS. 13. COORDINATION: THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE THE SEQUENCE AND PROGRESSOF ELECTRICAL WORK WITH THE OTHER TRADES' AND THE OWNER'S SCHEDULE.COORDINATE ACCESS PANELS AND DOORS THAT ARE CONCEALED BY FINISHEDSURFACES.
14. TEMPORARY LIGHTING AND POWER: PROVIDE TEMPORARY POWER, LIGHTING, ANDSUPPORT EQUIPMENT AS REQUIRED TO ACCOMODATE THE PLANNED CONSTRUCTIONACTIVITIES. INSTALL AND MAINTAIN FACILITIES IN A MANNER THAT WILL PROTECT THEPUBLIC AND WORKERS..

22. ROOF PROVISIONS: RACEWAY PENETRATIONS IN ROOFS SHALL PRESERVE THE INTEGRITYOF THE ROOF AND NOT VOID ITS WARRANTY. PROVIDE WEATHERPROOF FLASHING ANDCOUNTER FLASHING FOR ALL ROOF PENETRATIONS. PROVIDE SUPPORT ANDANCHORING MEANS FOR DEVICES AND EQUIPMENT. DEVICES SHALL NOT BE SUPPORTEDBY CONDUIT STEMS.
23. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAKE PROVISIONS FOR SAFE DELIVERY AND SECURE STORAGEOF MATERIALS.
24. SUBMITTALS: SUBMIT SHOP DRAWINGS FOR MAJOR MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT. SENDTHE SUBMITTALS TO THE ARCHITECT AND/OR THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR. PRIOR TOROUGH-IN OF EQUIPMENT, AND TO AVOID FORESEEABLE COST IMPACTS, THECONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW THE SHOP DRAWINGS FOR RELATED EQUIPMENT WITH THEAPPLICABLE TRADES FOR FINAL EQUIPMENT SELECTION, LOADS, VOLTAGE, PHYSICALDIMENSIONS, AND CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS.
25. CLEANING AND PROTECTION: AT THE COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT, INSPECT, RETEST,DEBURR, AND CLEAN THE INSTALLED EQUIPMENT (LIGHTS, PANELS, TRANSFORMERS,CONDUITS AND FITTINGS, RECEPTACLES, DEVICES, ETC.). TOUCH UP AND PAINTEQUIPMENT AND DEVICES AS REQUIRED. LEAVE PREMISES IN A CLEAN AND ORDERLYCONDITION.
26. DO NOT USE THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS AS THE FINAL RECORD DOCUMENTS. THECONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE THE OWNER WITH (1) SET OF NEAT, LEGIBLE, AND BOUNDPROJECT RECORD DOCUMENTS MARKED WITH ELECTRICAL FIELD CHANGES ORMODIFICATIONS.
27. TRAINING: PROVIDE FORMAL OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE TRAINING FOR ALLMAJOR EQUIPMENT TO THE OWNER AND BUILDING ENGINEER. SUBMIT ALL KEYS FORELECTRICAL SWITCHES, PANELS, CABINETS, ENCLOSURES, ETC. TO THE GENERALCONTRACTOR OR THE OWNER. IN ADDITION, PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY OPERATINGMANUALS FOR ALL MAJOR EQUIPMENT IN THE BUILDING TO OWNER.

FOR ALLEQUIPMENT (MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, CABINETRY AND FURNITURE, FIRE ALARM,SECURITY, SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, ETC.). PROVIDE MATCHING PLUG CONFIGURATIONSAND CORD AND PLUG SETS.
30. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW ALL MAJOR EQUIPMENT SUBMITTALS. VERIFY LOCATION,SIZE AND TYPE OF CONNECTIONS. COORDINATE DETAILS OF EQUIPMENT CONNECTIONSWITH THE SUPPLIERS AND INSTALLERS.
